GENIE G3T-R 3-Button Remote with Intellicode Security Technology Controls Up To 3 Garage Door Openers, 1 Pack, Original Version

These took less than 5 minutes to sink with my Genie Intellicode garage door opener. My house was built in 86 but don’t know how old the opener is. But this worked with it when a different one didn’t. Only the bottom button works to open it. I’m still not sure if the other buttons are for more than one garage door or for “up and down” if it’s the latter they didn’t work for me for that function.

This worked with my old Genie garage door! My old one stopped working and a new battery didnt help. Programming it was a snap! I did have to climb a ladder to get up to the garage door opener to push a button, but other than that you just push that and then your little remote 2 times. It programmed on the first try! I can not only open the garage door now, but I can do it from WAY farther away than I could before. You can also program more than one door on here, but I only have one door. I love this handy little thing.

Easy to read instructions are included, this was important to me, as I am an idiot when it comes to my garage door. I had to find the training button on the motor of my garage door (ladder required) I pushed the train button, then held down the top button and presto! It worked! The other two buttons are for other garage doors. Its useful if you travel in between multiple homes. It has a nice long range, I can hit the button while down the street and my door will be open by the time I drive in. Totally worth it

We couldnt not setup the homelink button on our car no matter how many times we tried with the other type of garage door opener remote by genie. While it worked flawlessly in opening closing the garage door, programming the homelink was impossible. This model however made programming the homelink button instant. If you are having problems with setting up your car homelink button with your current genie remote, get this right away.

The Genie remotes I purchases arrived fast with no delays. The product was easy as 1-2-3. The instructions where good, however I like to search on Youtube and see demonstrations of how to program the remotes. After finding a video and figuring out where the reset buttons are on the garage motor, it took less than 1 minute per door to program. The remotes are much smaller than the original ones and fit perfect on the visors of our cars. I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

I first bought this remote a few years back and it worked great and my boyfriend had no problems getting it set up. It was stolen out of my car, so I bought it again!! Works just a well as the first time!
