Nice unit. This is my second controller. Some of review comments I read, while buying the first one, that you must get close and often doesnt respond quickly. I found it works very reliably and from a reasonable distance. There is a consistent lag between pressing the button and the door movement but it works every time if I wait the ~2 second delay before pressing button again. In bought the first one for motorcycle and is small enough to be convenient

Range is awesome, been using it for a while and the battery last long. buttons are too damn hard! sometimes you really got to press it, like really push the darn thing!

my last door opener receiver stopped working so I replaced it. Before I had to be right at the door for it to work. This one lets me be 200+ feet away. It is taking so time to adjust to the feel of the button but thats not an issue.

Compact perfect for my riding jacket or pocket. It comes with a battery. Im using it on my opener manufactured in 2001. Only problem, it will not allow me to program two buttons to the same device. This would allow easier use with riding gloves on.

Take your time and read the instructions a few times and compare the buttons on your garage opener. If you do that, you should not have any problems. A few years ago I winged it instead of following the directions and things got messed up a bit . So ....I needed some help from an expert in the garage door biz. My bad. Avoid that mistake by reading instructions!

While I cant fault the price or fulfillment, the experience of syncing these remotes with my Genie Intellicode garage door openers was a real hassle, I ended up having to spend about half an hour on hold while trying to call Genie tech support. The lady I eventually spoke with was very helpful and fully resolved my difficulties. Still, the wait seemed a bit extreme. Also, these remotes seem to emit a very feeble radio signal, to the point where it is necessary to lower the sun visor in the car so that the remote has direct line of sight to the garage door, and then be very close to the door for the remote to work properly. Mashing the button hard and holding it down seems to help a bit.
