Genie GLEDB2-R2 2 Pack Garage Door Opener LED LIGHT BULB, 4000K,White

I was ready to buy a new garage door. The “home link” in either cars was hit or miss as to whether the 10 yr old garage door unit would operate or not. I then found out on Google how regular light bulbs have a frequency that can interfere with remote operation. Changed the light bulbs with these Genie Bulb which are made to overcome this specific problem. The garage door works on each press from either car. Great product. Great value! Especially since I didn’t buy a new opener for a a few hundred dollars.

I once was lost but now I am found... because my wife turned on the new garage opener lights. Thats all. Hopefully wont have to buy too many more times. If I need to, I will.

Keeps working; even with the vibration of the overhead garage door opener…Even with the extremely hot temps of our west facing, SW USA heat. The regular bulbs did not last long at all.

I had bought two sets of these for my other two GENI garage door openers, so when I installed a third new door opener I knew that these were the bulbs that would do the job. Some other LED bulbs give electronic interference and/or flicker in use, but these GENI bulbs are specifically for garage door opener use and they function flawlessly.

The only plus to these lights is that they are made by a known, brand and supposedly do not affect garage door openers (a problem I struggle with, constantly). The negative is the poor brightness and the bizzare, sterile color temperature, of the bulbs. They also cost WAY too much for LED bulbs these days. Kept them to satisfy a need, until I find something better.

Makes a big difference using these bulbs bs regular

We use this in our garage and on the garage door opener. It does not interfere with door’s functionality. Our previous light bulb prevented the garage door from opening (using the preset switch in the car) when the light was on. No more interference with this bulb and it’s brighter than I expected.
