Global 7 Vegetable Knife

Love my Global best knives Ive ever owned.

Lets get this out of the way, Global knives are beautiful tools. Id almost say Global is the Snap-On of the culinary world, only i dont have any professional culinary perspective. This knife arrived well packaged, and free of defects. After an initial wash, and maybe 20 or so uses, the knife was still sharp enough to cut clean through my girlfriends fingernail without any sharpening/honing. This knife feels right in my hand, and holds its edge. The price is high, but if you want a quality tool, you have to pay the price.

My mom needed a nice knife. She decided to get into cooking as a hobby, but just had old cheap knives. I got her this so she wouldnt hate chopping things anymore. She absolutely loves this knife! Its sharp, and shes vegan, so it kills all vegetation.

Beautiful knife cuts, sharp, clean edge. Minces better than any knife I have had. Handle design could be improved a bit so as not to accumulate small pieces while cutting or cleaning.

I bought this knife years ago and its still going strong. I wouldnt trade it for the world. If I could afford it I would get the whole set. I use it all the time. It is my GO TO knife.

I am fortunate to have had many good knives to have tried. This is my favorite ever. I have small hands, and I am 51 and I have no problems using this knife. Great balance. I dont have problems with the knife slipping. After washing by hand I dry it and put it on a magnet. I have been using this knife continuously since purchase date. Aprox. 2+ years. I previously owned Wusthof, J.A. Henckels, and other quality German knives which I found to be heavier, and less balanced for me. For me this is the best kitchen knife ever- I really LOVE IT. What I did before I purchased it on amazon was check a bunch of knives out at a few local knife shops. This one was not recommended to me but when I found it and researched it I decided to buy it and I have no regrets, worth every penny and I recommend it- of course first try it to see how it fits you.(if you can at a knife shop).

Excellent knife. Very sharp out of the box. Great quality, the shape is just right for scooping up chopped up vegetables after cutting.

I love this knife but after a couple of years it needs to be sharpened and I dont know where to send it. The machines dont work on this metal. The only down-side to these knives. I use the Global diamond steel which is great.
