> 3 dayUpdate 2020-07-30: This computer features two USB 3 ports on the left hand side. When a Logitech mouse and a Toshiba disk drive are connected to these ports at the same time, one of them becomes intermittent. Usually its the mouse, but today it was the disk drive. At this time the computer is plugged in and charging. I cannot recommend this computer for any application.

Greater than one weekThis laptop is best for web browsing and basic application tasks. It doesnt have enough power for audio/video editing, gaming or power hungry programs. The screen leaves a lot to be desired especially if you also have a higher end computer that you use elsewhere. Recently I have had this laptop turn on at night and the loud fan noise will wake me up. It doesnt seem to be updating and Ive checked and changed a lot of system settings without finding the reason why. Every now and then it will freeze and reboot without warning. So far I am not impressed with this entry level laptop. I would recommend spending a little more and getting a better screen, faster processor and overall better quality. My iPhone 11 makes this feel antiquated. 3 stars.

> 3 dayLess than 8 months of use and the WiFi module stopped working and there are no drivers on the HP site to update the software. Software support only valid for 30 days after purchase. So HP blames Windows for a botched update. Independent computer tech says there is no fix for the missing wireless software drivers. Now we have an 8 month old laptop that can not connect to the internet. Do not buy HP

> 3 dayI am incredibly happy with this HP laptop. It is certainly proved to be a significant upgrade from my previous HP laptop. I’ve owned four or five laptops made by HP in the past, and this is by far my favorite. It has the battery life and performance to deliver high speed results all day.
