> 3 dayI complained from the beginning about how erratic the laptop ran. I spent over 4 hours with their technicians telling me that we are just about at a point of fixing it. After my multiple times of complaining, I said I wanted to return it to the HP representative, and he told me it was past the month, (one week) and they could not replace it or take it back. I curse the day I switched to HP. I have bought Dell for years and never had a problem. Their laptops work. Disgusted.

> 3 dayThis piece of crap died- wont boot up- no one to call- only emails- then a one hour chat and if I Pay $25 it will still take from 15 to 30 days to get it repaired? up to 2 months if no charge in 12month warranty.

> 3 dayI bought this laptop to work from home in 2020 during the pandemic. It worked well - good speed, got the job done. Id had some issues with it being finicky about coming on from time to time. If it was left open, sometimes youd have to close it and reopen it to get the screen to light up. Other times, I had to hold the restart button and reboot it, even though it was just in sleep mode (clicking the mouse or hitting the space bar didnt get it to come on). This was a brand new (NOT refurbished) item.

> 3 dayNeeded a good budget laptop. Trusting in all these reviews and HP brand reputation went with this model.

08-06-2025I bought this for my daughter for virtual schooling-we already have a MacBook for my other child. We bought it because buying another MacBook was expensive so we went with the cheapest price. BIG MISTAKE. I really wish I could go back in time and just spend the money. This computer has had so many problems and glitches. It started making this weird notification noise every 5 seconds-even the kids in my daughters class can hear it. We don’t know where it came from. The bar at the bottom somehow is at the top? The quality of the screen is crap. Just spend the money on a MacBook-trust me. It’s expensive for a reason-we’ve had no problems with it AT ALL and we’ve had it 6 months longer. This thing is cheap for a reason-you get what you pay for.

> 3 dayI currently own a MacBook that I have been using for Web Development and graphic Design. At times I will be comparing my experience between my currently MacBook which has some age on it, its from 2016 and still running strong and this laptop.

> 3 dayBroke after a little over a year. No support from HP. I was told repair would start at $350 without shipping or parts.

Greater than one weekThis arrived today. I had high hopes. I’m typically a Mac user, but I need a PC for work. Given the reviews, I figured this would fit the bill.
