HP 15-dy1036nr 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1, 15.6-Inch FHD Laptop, Natural Silver

I bought this laptop on 08/2020, at first it works fine but then about 6 months later the screen started to go dark. Long story short, I have called HP tech support about 4 times (be ready to spend about an hour on the phone with them), after each time that they reboot and check my computer, they promised that the problem was fixed, but the issue keep happening. I also send my compute to HP for repair (I have to pay $26 to expedite shipping) they kept it about three weeks. For weeks later, the problem came back. Today I am calling HP again, and now they are telling me that they will not replace it, that I have to send my laptop for repair to them again. Seriously HP!!! No buying this brand ever again.

I wish there would have been something saying it was a matte screen. I’ll give the speakers a good rating. Not worth $600

works great, pretty fast and battery lasts a while.

I bout this laptop in Sept in 2020 to work from home and the Intel wifi adapter failed in December 2020. Now HP is s telling me I can pay $80 bucks to get a 3 year extended warranty on both software band hardware. Why the hell would I want to invest more than the the $700 investment I already made during the pandemic. Idk what to do at this point. I cant sell it, I cant get a refund, and Im not giving these crooks another dime. Dont buy it.

Excellent work computer for the price...started right up...out of the box...absolutely a work horse! Wish I could have backlit keys for a bit more money...my eyes are not as good as in the past. Otherwise light weight, and completely reliable! Ohhhh....I needed this computer to be delivered immediately because I teach online and I literally had students waiting for my correspondence by the next day...and Amazon was amazing!! This was recently with all the COVID-19 issues and I got incredible service. Thank you from my heart.

Bought this for 3 of my grand-daughters for home schooling due to Covid-19 they love it, has all the features, which of course all the teachers appreciate as well..

I got it early and been on it since it arrived and very satisfied

Have had several HP laptops and generally been satisfied. But after this one, not sure I will ever purchase another.

This computer is exactly what I need for home use. Reasonable price.

Ive had this laptop for a little over a month now as I finally broke down and bought something to have in tandem with my work issued laptop as we work from home. Im not putting it under hardcore use - just having something where I can have another screen to pull up online documents - and havent had any issues with performance speed, nor boot up time. Its fast. No issues with battery life. It seems to be a fine computer - except for one (in my view) rather annoying feature - the CPU fan.
