> 3 dayI was in the market for a laptop that‘s powerful enough to handle the workload of my e-commerce business and light enough to take everywhere. A very long search with so many overwhelming options to choose from. My reasoning for selecting this laptop was based on the good reviews and price was exactly in my budget. Here’s my buying experience: Shipping was very quick arriving a day before scheduled. Box is a standard brown box with an HP logo on the side. Comes with a relatively long charging cable, setup pamphlet, and the laptop as listed. Setup was easy. Windows 10 walks you through step by step. The screen has good color for the price and the edges are thin. It’s not a touchscreen which I personally love. Speakers are better than my previous laptop. Comes with a good quality webcam. I’ve been using zoom to conference and the microphone picks up my voice from anywhere in the room. Outside of work, my son has been using it for online gaming. Only complaint is the fan gets a bit loud under heavy use. The positive, it stays cool and powers through whatever I throw at it. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a great value laptop perfect for emails, streaming, Microsoft office, zoom, and light gaming for the kids.

> 3 dayPerformance has been better than I expected. I keep my screen at full brightness, so the battery does not last as long as advertised, but it still has outstanding battery life. Overall great laptop/no issues after about a week.

> 3 dayHorribly designed for venting. It’s loud and overheats frequently. Sleep mode is more like Sleeping Beauty mode because it refuses to wake up unless a prince kisses it (aka you reboot). Battery died not long after purchase. It worked great when it decided to but was very unreliable. Disappointed in HP who is usually pretty good.

> 3 dayBought this for my mother. She used it two times and when attempting to use it the third time it did not work. Took it to a computer tech who advised that the mother board was not working. Interesting to know after two months. I sent it to another country for her so it was difficult for me to bring it back in time for a return due to COVID.

> 3 dayThe ;laptop mouse pad was irregular. When you tried to scroll it would just pick a page by itself. When I tried to delete emails and other things it would give you a drop down menu. Ive never had a computer of any kind that was this bad. I sent it back the Amazon for a refund on Oct. 28th, they received it on the 30th and its been going on 8 days now and they have not refunded my money!!! Buyer beware of where your purchase is really coming from.

Greater than one weekI am in the return process currently for this product. While it is lightweight and has a nice look, there are glitches. I have also experienced the blinking screen that one review mentioned. This happens randomly and this is hard to navigate without a second monitor because the blinking prevents you from selecting icons on the desktop to navigate to where you need to go. I also experienced a few occasions where the spacebar stopped working as I was writing. Kinda need the spacebar. Also experienced audio crackling on zoom calls as well as when working and listening to music. The audio completely went out at least twice and I am still not sure why - just restarted several times and then it somehow restored itself. I did the HP diagnostics but you are never sure if that solves the issues. The biggest issue happened last week - I contacted Asurion for support to troubleshoot when at startup the screen went black. I tried everything I could as well as restarting and troubleshooting with YouTube videos. Asurion, was able to help me establish a restore point and that helped for about a week and then the screen blinking continued again, too. I contacted Asurion again only for them to offer that troubleshooting was not worth it and that I should contact Amazon for a refund since this is a brand new computer.
