HP 15-dy1036nr 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1, 15.6-Inch FHD Laptop, Natural Silver

I did notice the poor screen quality and didnt care about the lack of an ethernet port until, of course, the wi-fi would not work. Suddenly, the Wi-Fi stopped working or detecting any networks. I spent hours and hours trying to repair this little useless laptop, finally hooking it up to a router(after purchasing an adapter as it has no port) seemed to establish new network adapter drivers, only to have the same thing happen again and this time, was not able to resolve it again. No way to download or try to update or fix it online without hooking up directly to the router and then it corrupted a second time, and unsolvable.

I bought this for my dad to use for simple things. Since the start the WiFi adapter was very finicky. It would drop the signal and refuse to reconnect. Didnt feel I should have to deal with such lame performance for a brand new laptop. So back to Amazon it went. Will look at a Lenovo instead.

Not bad for ordering my first lab top computer online.

This is an outstanding laptop! The touch screen is a great feature and the clarity of the screen is sharp and clear!! Super lightweight and great battery life. Couldnt be happier. After buying one and working with it & liking it so much, I bought a second one as a gift for my daughter, whos in college. You wont be disappointed with this laptop.

This laptop is for my personal use. After having it for only 6-7 months,and using it a little each day, i am no longer able to access my wi-fi connections. I keep getting the message that I have a hardware problem with my wifi adapter. A brand new laptop should not be experiencing these type of problems with in just a few months. HP support is trying to say it is a software issue and the warranty for that ended 12/20 but my laptop is still under warranty until September 2021. Very frustrating to deal with HP on this. I was forwarded 4 times and all I could get were people that wanted to sell me different service plans.

I debated on this one or a lenovo with similar specs but then this one came down in price by $80 overnight. I am very happy with it. Its not my main computer but it works well for everything I have needed which is primarily data work in websites, remote access to support several client computers and some paint.net image manipulations. Its been fast for what I ask it to do. SSD is superfast and boots up in 10 seconds. The power cord port seems a little flimsy. Its in the back left side corner. I have to be aware not to hit it on anything. I hope longterm it is not a problem - I can be tough on laptops. Battery life is good.

I am using this laptop multiple times a day for work, school, and gaming. It can handle a lot!

First and foremost I need to state that I am NOT a computer geek so my review is going to be pretty much for those looking for basic thoughts on this laptop. I use this laptop for working at home on Zoom and FB Live often. What I have found that are an inconvenience to my are most likely minor to most but for me a bit more than inconvenient.

Very good laptop computer for the money.it was delivered on time over all I’m happy with it.
