> 24 hourI am not a heavy monitor user. In fact, I have two home computers and this monitor failed at ten months with light use, on average less than half an hour per day. The backlights went out with the exception of one group at the bottom of the screen. I have a warranty replacement coming but only after over an hour of wasteful troubleshooting with an offshore agent over logmein. And the warranty isnt fun- you have to wait for a shipping box, then you send it back and go WITHOUT A MONITOR until they determine what you sent really is broken and decide if they will send you a replacement. Not impressed. I wouldnt buy this again. Update: Mindy Pollard posted an earlier review with pictures; they show the identical problem to what I experienced. The replacement monitor finally arrived- I went two weeks without a monitor thanks to this issue. I dont perceive this model to be reliable, which is disappointing. I used HP monitors at work for years with zero issues.

> 24 hourUPDATE: I have purchased four of these units for the office. I am now being told by AMZ that I can not purchase any more due to imposed limits. I have been waiting months (15 days plus two years) to be able to update our office with replacement monitors. Now that staff is coming back to work I have hit another roadblock. Now I have to find another model/brand. Good thing I didnt promise more 27 units to others. Very Disappointed. Original review: We have been purchasing the HP 24mh monitors as replacements around the office, and I came across these HP M27ha models which are essentially just a 27 versions for the same price. The only downfall for both models is the lack of extra USB ports like you find on higher end units, but we can work around that. My folks are please with the extra real estate.

> 24 hourIt arrived on time in good working order. Setup was very easy. This monitor is fairly lightweight. I came with 3 different cables: VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort (and also a 3.5mm stereo audio cable) so it should work with any computer made in the last 20 years. The image is sharp, clear, colors are very good. The menu buttons on the lower bottom of the bezel are pretty small, so it takes a bit of practice to adjust the settings. No software CD or download link for drivers was supplied. Windows 10 found it immediately and the monitor was set to the correct resolution automatically. There are hints that this monitor supports audio over HDMI, but that is not apparently a feature for use with computers, perhaps it works as a regular TV when connected to a streaming device or cable/satellite box, I dont know. It has worked flawlessly for about a month, so Im confident it is going to last a long time.

> 24 hourMy sons 2nd monitor went out on his gaming computer. Since it’s his second he wasn’t worried about refresh rates just wanted if for Discord etc…. It came with the HDMI cable and the speaker cable but no Display Port cable. Lucky I work on IT and had one but the box was supposed to come with it

> 24 hourThe picture is fine but who on earth thought that putting speakers on the back of a monitor was a good idea? The sound is barely audible and I am having no luck finding a way to connect external speakers. Soon I will have to have my windows open and it will be impossible to hear anything at all. And of course if you have a job, HP support is nearly impossible to contact. I regret buying this monitor. UPDATE: No more HP for me. barely 90 days since I ordered it and its dead the picture will not stay on. I left it off overnight and it woke up nicely but the second I moved it, back to black. This is a disgrace to HP and, since it is next to impossible to reach HPs customer service, theres nothing to be done. Good way to rip off customers, HP and amazon.

> 24 hourThe thin bezels and the matte finish are really nice. The speakers were a major bummer. The monitor either doesnt have good speakers, or there are no good drivers for mac. The audio quality is very bad (almost like playing audio on 16kbps bitrate) - especially, the base can not be heard at all. The sounds are damp like listening to them on an old 1970s radio player. Id definitely not recommend for tasks like watching movie, or playing games with the monitors speakers.

> 24 hourThese are great for the price. Im using them from productivity (spreadsheets, coding, etc). I dont know how the speakers are, but I dont expect much. The only thing is it stated a DP cable was supposed to be included in the box and was not. Luckily I had one, but had to order another. I like that they have Displayport, which my work laptop dock uses, but also HDMI, which my personal computer uses.
