> 3 daySo great I bought a second monitor. Screen quality and color are absolutely beautiful. Speakers could use some help but overall, I’m happy.

Greater than one weekI pulled this out of the box and set it up. I found the packaging to be cheaply done. Also the basic setup and layout was not good. The connections are on the bottom and not the back and after getting the base on I had to find a flat place to lay it down to see where my connections were. THEN, I could find the power switch. Turns our there is a round button on the back that LOOKed like power but is actually the settings button. I did not feel the button on the bottom right where I expected it to be. It was there but I missed it. So, in short I spent 15 minutes getting angry that it wouldnt turn on. The instructions are a joke (as is expected these days). But there was not a word of English anywhere. And the graphic / image instructions say nothing about the power button or the brighness, contrast (settings) button on the back. Well, its on now and look good. But the ramp up which should have been an easy 5 minutes was much longer.

> 3 dayThe HP M27ha has a great picture. its frame/bezel is excellent, its sound quality is good and it had the makings of a great mid-price monitor. Its deficiencies are in its inability to retain settings. The sound setting has to constantly be reset upon sleep mode as the monitor does not retain this setting in its memory. it retains a lot but not something in inherently frustrating as resetting a sound setting. It could have been 5 stars but this knocked it down to 3. But thats HP quality, has great looks but lets you down by crumbling into the sea.

16-11-2024I have other high-end displays from Dell and HP, needed a pair for a temporary office arrangement and bought these. Theyre good, not great, but at the price they start closing in on really good. The color is accurate, OK speed, integrated speakers are adequate. Add the fact they are fully adjustable and they get 4 starts.

> 3 daySeem to work great for a basic home desktop. If I was doing photo editing I might spend a little more but why do that when you dont really have to have it and you can get good quality for a great price?

> 3 dayI use this for work from home purposes. The monitor has good picture quality. For the price I am satisfied and I would recommend this for someone who needs a monitor for everyday work purposes.

> 3 dayI purchased this monitor for a very good price, and I learned why over time. The feature set is excellent for a low end monitor from a time tested (and sometimes found wanting) name. I know people who work for HP, and I respect them greatly. This monitor, not so much. It loses sync on PC wake 25% of the time, unlike my other monitors, and turning it off and on restores it. Ive tried drivers, different video cards, different ports on the video cards, and even different computers -- and it has this problem across the board. Next to my Motherboard brand monitor it looks dull. After spending a lot of time with adjustments, its still lacking in vibrancy, color accuracy, and contrast. It looks pretty good physically, so it would be an excellent choice if working properly all the time isnt required. If it worked reliably, it would be worth a good sale price, and this may be an issue unique to this monitor. All that said, if it was (yeah, repeating myself) reliable it would be good for a grandma computer, but not for someone who has several computers and can tell this is the least visually performant monitor of the lot.

Greater than one weekAlthough cost is much less than any ordinary monitors, quality is not compromised. I cannot comment on any specific high-end demands, but for everyday usage from video/picture/color perspective, no complain at all but appreciate HPs reputation.
