For around $170 the monitor is decent. The bezels are fairly small which makes the screen look more modern. It comes with both a DP cord and HDMI cord. It’s not great for gaming since it’s only 60hz and only 1080p which is kind of low for a 27 in monitor but it makes sense for the price. There is slight edge light bleed when viewing dark images, not sure if it’s only a problem with my specific item. Comes with built in speakers which is not terrible but not great either, definitely not for high quality music listening. It’s alright for casual users.

Great second monitor for the price. Perfect for my needs. Great picture. Easy to adjust. I haven’t been able to figure out how to make the monitor speakers my default. Researched it some and may have to do with the dongle I use for my Mac so I used the auxiliary cord but even so I have to go into settings each time. I’m sure there is a fix I just haven’t researched it further.

I bought this to use as an extended screen for my macbook pro 2019. HP monitors are supposed to work well with macbooks. The screen was so blurry and fuzzy that I could not read any document. I am returning this. It may be fine gaming or streaming and it was very easy to put together. The base of the screen is sturdy, too.

I love the size of this monitor and the excellent picture quality. It is great for reading text in documents and web pages with no eye strain, as well as very responsive for gaming or watching streamed hockey games.

very easy to assemble, good image, good adjustability, even the sound is decent. It would be nice if they labeled the controls though, like too many others this monitor has black buttons on a black background for its controls, with no lettering. There are 4 buttons in a row, with up and down being the two in the center, so its not too hard to work out how to use it. But I shouldnt have to figure it out, button labels are not something that should need to be hidden. But other than that one complaint, I am very happy with my new gaming monitor.

Overall, this monitor is probably perfectly fine for casual office & business use, as well as basic home use, such as internet browsing, email, etc. Why the low rating then? I work in graphics, animation, and design. Ill admit that my previous monitors were hardly top of the line, but their colors were always good enough to get the job done. When one of them failed suddenly, I wanted a new one quick and cheap, so I impulsively chose this one without doing enough research. Ill start with the pros: The 27 size is really nice, quite a bit bigger than the Dell monitor that failed. (Its sister is still working next to this one) Ive actually liked using it for web browsing. Its clear and easy to read on. The stand is pretty decent too, easily raised, lowered, and tilted... another solid upgrade from the old monitor. It has several input options... Im using the displayport. It also has built in audio that seems to work right through the displayport connection. It did come with an audio cord, in case you connect with a method that doesnt accept audio. The Cons: This is where the monitor falls apart for me. Everything is kind of light and desaturated... a hazy grey. There are color adjustments on the monitor, but even cranking the brightness and contrast had almost no effect. The color modes are too intense to be useful (Warm, cool, and other presets that drastically alter the color). I just need something with a better range of color. In the end, its my fault for being hasty and not doing enough research. Ill use this monitor on another system where color isnt as important, but it wont be staying on my workstation. Final judgement: This is a solid monitor as long as accurate and deep colors arent important for your usage.

I love this monitor. I put it together, plugged it in, and it worked immediately on my MacBook Pro. There are several kinds of plugs. I use HDMI. The height is perfect as I keep it directly behind the laptop and use both screens. The blue screen makes it much easier on my eyes. I am a writer so any screen is rough after 12 hours.

Great monitor for your average computer user. Has some up and down motion as well as tilting. Good picture and packaged nicely.

The HP M27ha FHD Monitor is an affordable option for those looking for a great work from home setup. The optimized screen offers crisp pictures on a full HD display with ultra-wide viewing angles. You can stare at the 27-inch monitor all day since HP Low Blue Light software filters blue light without leaving the yellow tint. The comfortability continues as you adjust your computer monitor’s height or pivot to your liking and use the VESA mounting compatibility to find the right position in your home office. You will finally achieve your multimedia setup as you enjoy convenient audio built into the display and utilize HDMI, DisplayPort™, and VGA ports.
