> 3 dayI love the size of this monitor and the excellent picture quality. It is great for reading text in documents and web pages with no eye strain, as well as very responsive for gaming or watching streamed hockey games.

> 3 dayNot sure how the product works because it didnt come with a display port. Without it, the monitor is useless. Now I have to go out and buy a display port somewhere fast! So inconvenient.

> 3 dayThe monitor was fine for about three months, after that the screen started going black, and needed to be turned off, and on to get the image back. After a while, the monitor screen went black, with no signal, and no power. Contacted HP customer service, someplace in India, and spent over two hours with the representative who told me to change cables, reset the monitor, connect to a different computer, and some more basic stuff. I keep telling him that the problem was that the monitor didnt work period. The rep keep telling me that there was nothing he could do about the questioning because he had to follow protocol. After two hours of brainless suggestions, and some hard words on my part, he agreed to open a warranty claim. This was a stressful exercise in futility for no reason at all. This personal experience with HP customer service was frustrating, and one of the worse that I had experienced with other companies customer service, and I have had dealings with Comcast and AT&T which are pretty bad.

Greater than one weekOverall, this monitor is probably perfectly fine for casual office & business use, as well as basic home use, such as internet browsing, email, etc. Why the low rating then? I work in graphics, animation, and design. Ill admit that my previous monitors were hardly top of the line, but their colors were always good enough to get the job done. When one of them failed suddenly, I wanted a new one quick and cheap, so I impulsively chose this one without doing enough research. Ill start with the pros: The 27 size is really nice, quite a bit bigger than the Dell monitor that failed. (Its sister is still working next to this one) Ive actually liked using it for web browsing. Its clear and easy to read on. The stand is pretty decent too, easily raised, lowered, and tilted... another solid upgrade from the old monitor. It has several input options... Im using the displayport. It also has built in audio that seems to work right through the displayport connection. It did come with an audio cord, in case you connect with a method that doesnt accept audio. The Cons: This is where the monitor falls apart for me. Everything is kind of light and desaturated... a hazy grey. There are color adjustments on the monitor, but even cranking the brightness and contrast had almost no effect. The color modes are too intense to be useful (Warm, cool, and other presets that drastically alter the color). I just need something with a better range of color. In the end, its my fault for being hasty and not doing enough research. Ill use this monitor on another system where color isnt as important, but it wont be staying on my workstation. Final judgement: This is a solid monitor as long as accurate and deep colors arent important for your usage.

> 3 dayIt arrived on time in good working order. Setup was very easy. This monitor is fairly lightweight. I came with 3 different cables: VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort (and also a 3.5mm stereo audio cable) so it should work with any computer made in the last 20 years. The image is sharp, clear, colors are very good. The menu buttons on the lower bottom of the bezel are pretty small, so it takes a bit of practice to adjust the settings. No software CD or download link for drivers was supplied. Windows 10 found it immediately and the monitor was set to the correct resolution automatically. There are hints that this monitor supports audio over HDMI, but that is not apparently a feature for use with computers, perhaps it works as a regular TV when connected to a streaming device or cable/satellite box, I dont know. It has worked flawlessly for about a month, so Im confident it is going to last a long time.

> 3 dayAs the title says as a workstation this is everything youll need. For gaming though I would say there are far better options for $50-100 more. The colors are good, bezel is small and it comes with a decent stand. That said this monitor isnt marketed for gaming so all and all I am very happy with it.

> 3 dayThe HP M27ha has a great picture. its frame/bezel is excellent, its sound quality is good and it had the makings of a great mid-price monitor. Its deficiencies are in its inability to retain settings. The sound setting has to constantly be reset upon sleep mode as the monitor does not retain this setting in its memory. it retains a lot but not something in inherently frustrating as resetting a sound setting. It could have been 5 stars but this knocked it down to 3. But thats HP quality, has great looks but lets you down by crumbling into the sea.
