> 3 dayI love this monitor. I put it together, plugged it in, and it worked immediately on my MacBook Pro. There are several kinds of plugs. I use HDMI. The height is perfect as I keep it directly behind the laptop and use both screens. The blue screen makes it much easier on my eyes. I am a writer so any screen is rough after 12 hours.

> 3 daySo I bought this on Amazon Prime day for a total steal ($130). I was setting up a TV so my wife could watch Hallmark movies when she was in the bathtub. This was a perfect solution, especially at the price. The monitor image is great, works fine with a Chromecast to get streaming input from her iPhone. The integrated speakers are fair but way better than having to set up external speakers. The only thing that would have made this monitor perfect would be to have a USB port that I could have used to supply power to the Chromecast device, but not that big a deal to connect it through a pigtail adapter that I needed anyways to power the monitor. Picture is great, color is great, brightness is great. Stand is very solid, and everything was very well packed.

> 3 dayThe monitor looks a little thicker than I had imagined, but it feels solid. I liked that it came with the cover for the vesa mount bracket on the back of the monitor. Im not mounting it, so it covers the screw holes nicely. I had no intention on using the speakers in this since most monitor speakers are terrible. I was pleasantly surprised when I tested it out. They actually sound great for meetings, I can hear everyone perfectly through it. The display itself had a nice slim bezel. Its vertically adjustable which is nice for those of us who are using them as a second monitor with a laptop. For what Im using it for Im happy with it, especially given the price point. (~$135 when I bought it).

> 3 dayI purchased two of these monitors on prime days because they had a good price and I needed new monitors for my home office There were a few bad reviews of the monitors going out but they were also several good reviews so I decided to give them a shot I regretted that decision within a week In less than five days the first monitor just went black while I was working I contacted Amazon and initially they told me I had to reach out to HP I disputed that with Amazon customer service and said absolutely not since I just bought them and Amazon service did agree to send me a replacement and I returned the defective one The second monitor did the exact same thing in less than 40 days Again while working the monitor just went black Note these monitors are only used in my home office I work about 8 to 10 hours a day so they are not getting excessive gaming use they’re not getting overheated it’s just standard use for working in an office environment The picture on the monitors when they work is great for what I need it for I can’t see how it would be for gaming or anything else but for doing spreadsheets and word documents the picture was fine However they do not last and when you rely heavily on multiple monitors to work when they go out in your left with just one monitor or a small 15 inch laptop it makes it very difficult to be productive I normally do not buy HP brand because I’m not a fan of the quality and these monitors are no exceptions I should’ve stuck to my rule of no HP products and not purchase these items as the quality is very very poor

> 3 dayIt arrived on time in good working order. Setup was very easy. This monitor is fairly lightweight. I came with 3 different cables: VGA, HDMI and DisplayPort (and also a 3.5mm stereo audio cable) so it should work with any computer made in the last 20 years. The image is sharp, clear, colors are very good. The menu buttons on the lower bottom of the bezel are pretty small, so it takes a bit of practice to adjust the settings. No software CD or download link for drivers was supplied. Windows 10 found it immediately and the monitor was set to the correct resolution automatically. There are hints that this monitor supports audio over HDMI, but that is not apparently a feature for use with computers, perhaps it works as a regular TV when connected to a streaming device or cable/satellite box, I dont know. It has worked flawlessly for about a month, so Im confident it is going to last a long time.

> 3 dayThese are great for the price. Im using them from productivity (spreadsheets, coding, etc). I dont know how the speakers are, but I dont expect much. The only thing is it stated a DP cable was supposed to be included in the box and was not. Luckily I had one, but had to order another. I like that they have Displayport, which my work laptop dock uses, but also HDMI, which my personal computer uses.

> 3 dayThe picture quality isnt very good at all, but the built in speakers are impressive for what they are. I can see the backlight showing through on the bottom corners of my screen, although they can be ignored when bright pictures are being displayed. Its also worth mentioning that this screen looks very dull sometimes, and colors really dont stand out very well. However, that can also be ignored after getting used to the experience. As for the speakers, they are in the back of the monitor. They have a great sound quality compared to what I thought they would be. Overall, the monitor would be fine for basic office work. The built in speakers arent much, yet they are clear and loud enough to understand perfectly. It will also keep your desk free of clutter to not require stand-alone speakers.

> 3 dayI have been an HP monitor user for a few years now, and this is another great one, especially considering the price. Image is sharp and easy on the eyes. I dont game, and I only use it for working and its great. My only complain is the sound control. My MacBook pro is not able to control the sound volume on this HP monitor, and there are no shortcuts or buttons on the monitor itself to do this. You need to navigate on a complicated menu to reach a place where you can adjust the volume.
