> 24 hourThe one major problem with this item was that the piece that goes into the punch would not stay in, and kept falling out. There is no way to tighten it to keep it from falling out when trying to use the punch. I dont know if I bought a dud, or if they are all like this, but I was not happy at all with this purchase, and I should have returned it. I couldnt remember who I bought it from otherwise I would have returned it.

> 24 hourThis was recommended by an acquaintance. Was a little skeptical at first but works better than expected. Easy to use and multiple hole sizes. Will punch through several layers of vinyl, foam, stabilizer at a time. Great quality.

> 24 hourI bought this intending to put holes in binder board - like a thick non-corrugated cardboard. This thing just isnt up to the task. Great for even sturdy paper or cardstock though. And its good for layers of paper.

> 24 hourI bought this punch to make holes in text weight and cover weight paper for bookmaking. I returned it for a refund because it did not punch through even one sheet of paper without repeated punchings that inevitably became out of line with one another. When it finally did punch a hole, the paper got stuck in the bit, so I had to take it apart and dig out the paper bits with a paper clip. If there are special instructions for any of this, I cannot know because all the writing is in Japanese. I can read five languages, including Chinese, but Japanese is not in my repertoire! I cannot recommend this product.

> 24 hourIf you use more than few times in row and didnt grease it up then it will get stuck in the handle, unable to come back out once you finish screw punch through. so I need to order new one, will be getting different brand. Had enough of this handle issues

> 24 hourTakes a little getting used to but I love it! Make sure that you use something sturdy like a piece of wood or a cutting board while punching holes.

> 24 hourWhy did I not get one of these sooner? Great for punching rivet holes in leather, material, and even cork! Just wish it came in some kind of holder so the bits could be held in neatly. HIghly recommend

> 24 hourThis is truly a cheap product. I have another Japanese punch that I like a lot, amd Ive used it for years. (I got it at Blick.) This one simply does not cut when pushed down, and the metal ferrule that goes around the wood handle slipped off the first time I used it. As far as I can tell, it was never truly attched to the handle. Truly substandard. And why does Amazon want me to rate its sheerness? This is a question on almost all the review forms, and it makes no sense.
