> 3 dayThis punch set gets more use than I thought it would when I bought it. It functions well with little effort. The selection of hole sizes makes this set a must have when different size holes are needed for an array of stitches, snaps and eyelets. This punch made clean sharp holes, I have no complaint. Handy and stores well in my small craft room. I bought this tool in 2020 Nov. and have used it pretty much every day since. It does punch paper and yardstick. The trick I have learned is when punching paper or anything the base you punch on should be a hard plastic cutting board, (Dollar Tree Item) the reason for this is the base will get cut as well. Another trick is when cutting, rotate the cutter around the hole youre making to make sure the hole you are cutting is complete. One more hint, I oil the grove to making the pushing motion easier, cuts down on the pressure needed. I sure hope this helps out, I really like this tool. Now I want to buy an extra set of punches for mine as a back up. I would be lost with out this tool. I dont need another tool but, I will buy one just for the extra punches.

Greater than one weekThis product doesnt really work well at all. The punch will only go half way down at most. Its like it is caught on something or the spring is too tight. Im not exactly sure what the issue is, but it will not work on even very thin chipboard without having to push on it 3-4 times.

> 3 dayIt works... barley. It moves rough, even with WD40. The punches themselves arent really sharp. Do yourself a favor and get a good quality one.

15-04-2025I believe that the manufacturer did not bother to test the screw punch prior to packaging. There are metal burrs which prevent the screw punch from punching down. Also, the drill bits are not sharp and they dont cut through paper all the way. Thus, leaving behind a hanging chad, a fragment of paper left over when you punch a hole

> 3 dayWhen it works properly on fabric/vinyl, it is great and you can punch a bunch of holes. Most of the time, it doesnt completely punch the hole and cleaning out the tip doesnt usually help. It is like the metal parts arent fitting completely and it grinds when you punch. Makes it hard work.

> 3 dayI have used this several times. It seems to be low quality as a metal ring is coming off the wood. I can glue it back, so no problem. It probably is a good one to start with if you want to save money and it works.

> 3 dayIts tough to punch through many layers of vinyl for bag making. Its also tough to see where youre punching with some of the hand punches or big presses. This went through multiple layers with ease and I could see exactly where i was putting the hole. And you can put the hole anywhere! Youre not restricted by the length of your press. It is a bit of a learning curve to have the punch do the rotation when pressing down and that is critical. Practice on a cutting mat without material a couple of times to get the feel. I used my self heal sewing matt and it didnt seem to damage it at all. I dont use this for paper. I know paper dulls things quickly so thats probably the reason for some of the lower reviews. For fabric its great.

> 3 dayThought this would work better. Does not cut clean. You have to press hard to make sure it cuts. Does not like layers.

> 3 dayI was a little skeptical at first, but it will work its way through several layers of vinyl and fabric. When it arrived, it didnt work very well because it was stiff and a bit sticky. A light shot of WD40 fixed that and it works like a charm!
