> 3 dayFantastic product, I transported it in my van inside the rear passenger/cargo area and had no vapors or smell. They seal so well I forgot I filled them up and left it in the van two more days. They weren’t kidding when the explained in other reviews that you have very little difficulty or control filling even small containers or tools with fuel. I tried the upside down test with 4+ gallons inside and no leaking. The only minor issue is with fuel stations you only get about 4.5 gallons before the pump continues to shut off. Part of the product design but hardly a complaint…I just bought a few more of them to get the 15-20 gallon range I required. It was so nice to simply throw out all my plastic gas containers and crappy leaking “fuel efficiency nossles.”

Here is my honest opinion
> 3 dayI bought this after I bought the one just like it but with the 5/8 nozzle. The smaller nozzle took too long to fill the things I wanted to use it for (riding lawn mower, ATV, boat) and since they all had large fuel supply holes I got this (I understand I will need the 5/8 for cars or the smaller garden tools). I am very happy with the quality. My husband filled both tanks at a gas station a half hour away and I couldnt even tell that they had been in the car. We had been using the plastic containers, which made the car stink for days. I also hated to have to unscrew the nozzle, turn it around (getting gas on my hands) and try to get the nozzle in the lawnmower tank without spilling anything. This requires you squeeze a handle before the gas is released, the same idea as a gas pump, so nothing spills. It also feels much safer than the plastic tanks. The only downside of these versus the plastic is the weight. They do weigh considerably more. Once I add 5 gallons of gas they get heavy. That is why I got this 1 nozzle version as it takes less time before the gas is transferred. I am very happy with these cans. My neighborhood is geeky enough that I have had some neighbors stop by to see our new cans. Every guy has said that their wife wants the same as they also are a little freaked by the safety issues of the plastic cans. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayWe like this gas can so much we have purchased a total of five of them. We travel full time with a generator in our truck bed for dry camping. We carry two 5 gallon cans and one 2.5 gallon can to keep our generator running for a week or more. The cans do NOT leak, turn over, smell or expand under the heat of truck topper. Well worth the investment because when you need the generator, it is fueled up and ready to go.

> 3 dayIve tried a dozen different plastic gas cans, all of which were difficult and extremely slow to fill an automobile. I was between the JustRite cans and Nato Jerry cans before this purchase, and here is why I went with 2 JustRite cans over a single NATO: 1. Flexible spout. - Holy cow this makes filling your car from a variety of angles super easy. 2. Vent release. - Most NATO cans will bang and bulge. A friend can hear his popping throughout his entire house during summer. 3. Wont fall over during (reasonable) transport - its 5 gal, it could tip if you take a hard turn, but NATO cans must be laid on their side, which encourages them to slide around and leak. 4. Great nozzle while being Carb Compliant. - NATO cans with plastic Carb-Compliant spouts suck as much as the plastic gas cans. And the NON-compliant have no way to control flow speed and can splash while getting in position or moving. 5. No assembling of the nozzle every...single...time. No more gas on your hands and feet. Unless you have a JEEP with actual NATO gas can holders mounted on them... BUY THIS CAN INSTEAD.

> 3 dayI purchased two separate tanks and both were dented. These look to have stronger construction than any other gas can I have seen, but the quality control is lacking as they seem to be missing the dents.

> 3 dayThe best gas can I have ever owned. I was tired of the cheap plastic ones that spilled gas everywhere and expand when hot and cave in when they cool down. I had to order a smaller spout to make it usable for filling my truck in an emergency. The one that comes with is much too large

> 3 dayI use this can to store gasoline for my JD riding mower and it works great. I previously had those plastic gas cans and this is a 5000% improvement. With old plastic cans they expanded and cracked around handle and no way to get fuel in tank under seat of JD mower without spilling fuel. With flexible spigot and valve/lever this metal can is ideal. So much safer for storage and use. No more gassy rags lying around as with old cans after spill cleanups, no fuel on my hands anymore. A little pricey BUT WELL WORTH IT !!! I RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. Eventually I will get the smaller version of this one also for my mixed fuel yard tools so no more safety worries. High quality product !

> 3 dayVery pricey, but pays for itself over time if you use portable gas cans. I got this small one for mixed and a 5-gallon to replace the, lets just say, retarded plastic unsafe safety cans that our illustrious government decided would keep us from blowing ourselves up. One added benefit is that it keeps a nice seal and can be stored in garage or garden shed and wont leave gas fumes. All-metal means its going to last a lifetime. Im used to the plastic ones being completely intolerant of sunlight, besides being impossible to use, and not lasting at all. This one cures that problem.
