> 3 dayWhen I squeeze the lever against the handle, the gasoline just drips out, instead of pouring out. It seems like the lever isnt opening up the passageway enough. It did this since the day I bought it, but Ive been in and out of the hospital with cancer appointments to have any time to setup a return. But I wish for an exchange/replacement

> 3 dayHeavy duty, thick wall and made very well. Positive sealing and easy to use unlike most of the cheesy plastic ones are nearly impossible to use without making a mess. Its not cheap, but it will be the last gas/diesel can you will ever buy.

> 3 dayThese are great cans. Holds up well. The only thing I would improve is the packaging. The handle on mine got bent in shipping, but it still works great. I will order more.

> 3 dayHands down the best gas can you can buy that Im aware of. Im sick of the plastic ones expanding in the summer, then contracting in the winter, and never holding the same shape ever again. This one is solid metal, with a sturdy construction. Ive only used it for lawn equipment, and from my experience, its super easy to pour. Rarely do I get some spillage, and if I do, nine times out of ten, its my fault. It was super easy to assemble when it arrived. Ive got one for mixed, and one for gasoline. Ill never buy or recommend another gas can in my life.

Greater than one weekIf you hate dealing with new style gas cans and wish you find something as good as the old style, well this is even better. I bought one for my father, and I use it as much as he does. He had been complaining about the venting on new cans and I found this one. Talk about a perfect gas can. It wont dispense until you pull the release next to the handle, so there is no chance of spilling gas while you tilt the can to get the nozzle into the fuel tank you intend to refill. It is commercial grade, so unless you run it over with a vehicle, I cant see it ever failing.

Greater than one weekI read some of the negative reviews. Honestly, if you can load a 30 round AR magazine without shooting yourself or developing some sort of thumb tendon snivel, this diesel can is the way to go. Easy fill easy pour. Stable in transport and does not leak or allow odor out. The people who whine about the safety screen probably also are the type that still need shampoo instructions (lather. Rinse. Repeat). The only down side is the round shape and the fixed spout. It occupies more space than a 5 gal jerry can, but leaks less. Candidly, if you struggle with this items usage, you should not be allowed around even minimally volatile fluids such as diesel. Its for your own good. Well made, good fit and finish inside and out, transports easily with the carry handle, pours easy just by pulling the spring loaded chrome handle, pours at a decent angle into a vehicle so you get all 5 gallons into the truck, fills easily as long as you can generally put a male nozzle into a female receptacle. (OK, clear your mind, dont think vulgar thoughts about petrochemicals). Spout fits every vehicle I have ever put it in.

Greater than one weekAfter struggling with the 5 gallon Gott fuel cans for years I saw a Surecan one day and bought it. A big improvement and I thought that you couldnt do any better. The Surecan is good but if I had purchased a Justrite first I dont think I would have been looking for anything better. This can is great. Like everyone says, you can put it inside the vehicle and not detect any smell. Hold it upside down and no leaks, although if you dispense fuel while it is in the upside down position you will get a slight leak. The Gott fuel can could start leaking just sitting there and always smelled of fuel. I have never had a fuel can that you could dispense fuel from so easily and accurately. The Gott seemed to be designed to spill fuel, the Surecan seemed to be either on or off, but this can lets you control the flow so much better. I did add some Edge Trim Black Large, 1/4 Fits Edge (10 Feet Length) to the bottom of the can. Didnt like the sound or idea of the can sliding on a hard surface. Also added a silicon plug to the spout to prevent dirt getting into the nozzle when not in use. I liked this can well enough I know have two.

> 3 dayNice solid probably lifetime gas can. Once I got used to it it is easy to fill things with. The one fly in the ointment however is the mostly non flexible pour spout that sticks from the top of the gas can instead of being able to fold against for compactness. You would think that they could engineer it so that it had a swivel joint.
