Greater than one weekHandles are very comfortable and the fuel flows freely with out air gulping back through the nozzle. I have several 5 gallon size Justrite fuel containers and have been very pleased. This is likely not required but I took a step to fill each with only 4.8 gallons to accommodate any temperature induced fuel expansion. I’m reviewing the 5 gallon size tank, so one should note that the cylinder with fuel weighs ~37 pounds. The handles are ergonomic but some users may be happier with the 2.5 gallon size. Always look for “Sold By Amazon, Shipped by Amazon” in the vendor description. Their standard return policy will apply. I did not need to return any of the 7 I ordered.

Greater than one weekBought the blue one to use for K1 Kerosene in my shop. These cans are excellent, worth the money and easy to use. If youve had a crap can you know what I mean. This was my third one. Have a smaller 2.5 gal that I use for mixed fuel for chainsaws and works great. Stop buying the cheap plastic ones every other year and get something that will last!

> 3 dayGreat product Just note that some car and truck Manufactures have such a small inlet that sometime the larger outlet on the Can will be overwhelm on how fast the gas comes out I would recommend either using a funnel or going with the smaller diameter 5/8 metal spout. I use the bigger diameter on my Honda all the time and it works great but when I go to a Ford or GM they struggle to allow the gas to go into the tank fast enough for the can . So I just ordered one with the smaller diameter so when I fill up the Ford or the GM I just use that can. I guess I’m just so disappointed with Ford and GM not being able to make a gas inlet capable of handling the gas can fill up. The bigger diameter on the gas can is not the problem it’s the manufacture of the cars that create the problem. The bigger diameter outlet on the can is wonderful to fill up my Honda car ,lawnmowers, tractors and generators. I am so pleased with the product it’s one of the best things I’ve ever bought.

> 3 dayThis can works perfectly with no leaks when using it. The rubber is high quality and seals perfectly. Everything about it is high quality and you get what you pay for!

> 3 dayAfter struggling with the new politically correct plastic cans from the big-box stores for the last decade or so, I am very impressed by the quality of this gas can. Unlike the plastic cans, It seals up tight so there is no smell of fuel in the car when returning from the gas station. It’s easy to use: the handle on top is well positioned to help when pouring and the shutoff valve works exactly as it should. These cans are pricey but, I think, well worth it when you consider safety and easy of use.

> 3 dayI was a little disappointed when my brand new gas can with 5 gallons of fuel in it was leaking gas due to the outside ambient temp. It was in the back of my truck for about 3 hours at about 75F - not in direct sun. When I grabbed the can to fill the dirt bikes, I was surprised to smell the gas and see a steady stream of gas (coming from the filling hole) that was running down the bed. Since then, I only put about 4.5 gallons and viola...no spillage even in the heat. Also, the lever to release fuel for dispensing rubs against the solid handle and gets stuck every time. So, I have to release the dispensing lever a few seconds before I reach the desired volume. Its not really safe or convenient. Not exactly what I was expecting for the price of this can. I contacted Amazon, and they are sending me a new unit. Ill be sure to update this review when I get to test the new can. Im hopeful that my can was simply defective. Thank you Amazon for being so easy to work with on this issue. NEW CAN UPDATE: Well, the same applies to the fluid volume. This should be re-labeled as a 4.5 gallon cannister. The good news is that the new unit doesnt have a faulty lever like the previous cannister. All things considered, this is still the best gas can Ive ever owned and would recommend you to purchase it. Its a 4 star at this point because I cant speak to its durability. Ill update this review in a few years.

> 3 dayI would give this a 10 star if I could. Built to last generations and won’t crack and leak after a year or two like the plastic ones. You’ll never have to buy another gas can in your life neither will your children

> 3 dayI had one of the plastic 5 gallon gas cans for several years but it was such a pain in the butt when pouring gas. You had to pull on a button in order to push down on the handle to release the gas. I got fed up with it and bought this metal gas can. I should have bought this a long time ago. It is so easy to use and pour gas. While it costs more it is worth it. Best thing Ive bought in a while!

Greater than one weekThis gas can is fantastic. It arrived in pristine condition, no dents, scratches or paint imperfections. I thought I ordered the skinny hose but instead I ordered the fat one. Im glad it worked out the way it did because its what I would have wanted. The can is heavy when its full so if you have a weak wrist or arm go with the 2.5 gallon can. With the safety features and functionality of this can it cant be beaten. I know its a little pricey but well worth the money. I have to drive twenty mile to buy non-ethanol fuel and I feel comfortable doing so with this can in my car.
