Klipsch AW-650 Indoor/Outdoor Speaker - White (Pair)

I have a pool and a fire pit area and needed some really decent speakers to go with 3 15 outdoor subwoofers. I was able to setup and compare side by side the Klipsch 650 / Polk Atrium 6 / Kicker KB6000. The Klipsch and Polk were far far better than the Kicker. I tried the Kicker just because of the high reviews and lower price - and seeing how I need 10 speakers - price matters. But the Kickers just didnt kick it. The Klipsch compared to the Polks.... I blind tested my friends and the sound was pretty close - dead even to a few of them. But anyone into audio at all would always give the edge to the Klipsch. I ended up buying Klipsch for the speakers close to sitting areas and the Polks for distance over the pools - solely because the price of the Polks were way cheaper. If they were priced the same or within $50 - I would have purchased all 650s.

These speakers are a great example of you get what you pay for. Like other reviewers I considered using an outdoor sub but with these speakers you do not need it. They are loud enough. They are also big and weigh about 10lbs each so make sure and anchor them accordingly.

Works well, sounds great. We will see how they hold up over time at a Fraternity House.

klipsch rock these speakers sound like an outdoor concert. can hear them forever, or played low no distortion,every sound is there.

I owned a pair of cheaper outdoor speakers and have finally decided to change them after about 12 years. After researching outdoor speakers I finally settled on these. I have owned these for a couple of months and have been amazed how good they are. Rich, crisp sound with more than enough bass for me without a sub. I have a 20x20 deck and the sound fills the deck and into the yard. Make sure you note how big these are and also how heavy they are when you consider the mounting. Again, Im loving the sound and how well these speakers are performing. I hope they will last as long as my old speakers. You will not regret getting these. Jote M

I bought these because everyone spoke about how great they sound. They don’t sound terrible but a Bose Bluetooth speaker I felt had more to offer than these. Almost no bass what so ever. Just highs the entire time.

After the rain I went to check the speakers and one had about 1.5 cups of water inside the speaker... I live in Florida and we get strong rain storms an wind... I have not tried to use the speaker again because I can STILL hear more water inside the speaker... before the rain they were great... I do not know what to do now...

These speakers are very large in size, I was going to mount them on the ceiling of my patio, but really they don’t look good because of the size. I will try and by some smaller ones , if I actually saw them in a store I would have never bought them. Because of their size

Great sound. Wish they had deeper bass but works for my application mounted high in my barn.

These are very efficient so they make long cable runs doable. The sound is 1st class (and Im picky). If you want a great sound without having to run a big amp - here ya go. Ive tried Polk and others and none of them sound as good as these.
