> 3 dayThese sound great. Could use more bass, but they stand tall on their own without a sub. These are not small speakers.

> 3 dayFinally put these up in my Pavilion. Very quick installation and they sound great. Already had two comments about how good they sound. Klipsch is known for clear sound and these dont disappoint.

> 3 dayStruggled like most to decide between these or the Polk Atrium 8s. So ordered both and hooked them up side by side. Pushing them with the Yamaha 200w receiver (the popular $200 one). The Klipsch were noticeable clearer and bass was significantly better. Klipsch packages them better in the box over Polk (my Polks had small dings in the grills because of poor packaging). The Polks do seem like the housings are better made if you need a true outdoor speaker that will be exposed to the elements. The Polks sounded good, but these sound great!

> 3 dayI am not new to Klipsch products. I still have and use two pairs of Klipsh Heresy speakers I bought in ... wait for it ... 1973!! They still sound great. With the addition of the Klipsch outdoor speakers to my Lake Dock Stereo system, I now have the best sounding system in the area. Yes, they are relatively expensive speakers. Yes, they are larger than most outdoor speakers AND Yes -- they are definately worth the money!!

> 3 dayFairly loud, but not $300 dollars worth. Nowhere near enough bass for my tastes.....and I dont need thumping bass. I bought 3 pair and am powering each set with a 100 watt per channel stereo receiver. Very clear all the way to maximum volume. Maybe Im spoiled by my indoor bose system but Im not impressed. They are just ok.

> 3 dayThese are exactly the speakers I wanted. I had a pair of Klipsch KHO-7s on our second story veranda for the last 10 years. While they are in a covered area, they are still exposed to the humidity and heat of Ohio in the summer, and the extreme cold temperatures of the winter. This last winter took its final toll on the old speakers so I set about researching outdoor speakers once again. I came close to buying the Definitive 6500s for the same price and from what I read, I would likely have been satisfied. However, I bought the Klipsch 10 years ago because I liked the sound so I decided to stick with Klipsch. I live in a rural area where my closest neighbor is over 1/4 mile away so cranking up the volume is no big deal. I have an old Yamaha RX-830 (bought in about 1990) that delivers 85w/channel. Well, I cranked them up and WOW! The instrumentals are crisp and clear. The bass is deep and sustained. Simply great acoustics. I can hear these things all the way to our property line, which is about 1400 feet away. Needless to say, I am very pleased with these speakers. They are huge compared to the old speakers, but they deliver--and that is what we all want. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayThese will be turned up occasionally but my usual listening is at night at lower volume. They sound good enough for me to write a review even with less than a week of listening. Im very happy with the way they sound at a low volume, the treble is clear and the bass sounds rich and warm (to me). The Polk Atrium 45s I had before sounded good as well but these produce a bigger sound due to the larger woofer and cabinet size. I am very happy that I upgraded to the Klipsch speakers.

Greater than one weekI bought 4 pairs of these for our garage and back yard area. Im running them with an Onkyo 820 receiver and they pack some punch. Ive only been using them a couple of days and the sound is getting better and better as they loosen up. I will definitely be sticking with Klipsch.
