Klipsch AW-650 Indoor/Outdoor Speaker - White (Pair)

First, let me say that I have been into high end audio for more than 30 years. When I opened the packaging for theses speakers, they were larger than I expected. They were mounted on my back porch approximately 10 off the ground, and about 18 apart, pointing out over the pool area. I found these speakers to have vey good dynamic range and a lot of volume for an outdoor speaker filling a very large area. I went with these particularly because of their sensitivity, 95 dB. While researching for these, I came across the Definitive Technologies AW 6500, and read a review comparing them to these speakers. A worthy competitor, however, their sensitivity is rated at 92 dB. The Klipschs produce the same volume at half the power, this may be attractive to those of you with lower powered amps. I highly recommend these speakers for those of you thinking of adding high quality sound to your patio or any outdoor area. Excellent sound without the need for a lot of power.

Love these speakers. A little bit less bass then I would like but they sound crisp and clear. Even turned up load. I have an acre and I can hear them not only on all parts of my yard but down the street too

These speakers are very good. You will hear sounds of musical instruments on songs youve never heard before.

I listen to most of my music in the garage while tinkering around. In the past I have used my older indoor speakers mounted on the wall... but the heat and dust eventually killed them. These speakers are the perfect solutions. Took me 15 minutes to install and wire. Sound great and are designed for the environment they are in. Love them.

Thought for the money they were great speakers for outside. Turns out that is not the case. Bought 4 of them. Had high expectations and they just don’t seem to meet our expectations. We even had a professional install the speakers.

I use them with an old radio shack mini-receiver and cd player, which I bring out as needed. Sounds great.

I paid almost 100 more for twhat they are selling for now. And would recomend at the price. you will find no beter outdoor speakers in this price range. They are bigger than they look and the horns dispurse the sound widly perffect for out door application. Look no further. grab pair while you casn. and add a chep sub with themoney you save.

Works well, sounds great. We will see how they hold up over time at a Fraternity House.
