Greater than one weekI purchased this plug specifically for a vanity with two lights. It was easy to set up and it worked perfectly for a while. Now I guess I will have to unplug and reinstall it because Alexa keeps turning on only one of the lights. I can manually turn on the other light, but that means I have to reach down for the plug...not handy. Technically, mechanically this plug in works for both lights. But, whatever the problem, Alexa no longer turns on both lights. I am sure redoing the set up will fix it. But, what changed it to begin with? Will it happen again? So, whether it is the switch or Alexa, it is their integration that is not working. Just know that you may have to reset it from time to time when Alexa decides to not get along with Duo.

> 3 dayNo issues with these at all. Came and right out of the box they make it easy to set up and download the app. App is easy and self explanatory. Control is easy as well. Love having two outlets for one plug. So convenient especially with Christmas lights. I do not have it hooked up to Alexa or anything like that. App is great, easy to rename the plugs so you know what they control.

> 3 dayI use these for my Christmas tree and star on the tree. Love the timer so I dont have to unplug or plug them back in. When I get up they are lit up and just when I get ready for bed they are off. Awesome!

> 3 dayThis smart plug duo, 2-Outlet wi-fi plug by KMC gives the user 2 independently controlled smart outlets . KMC says that the device will work with Alexa or Google Assistant, requiring no hub. Furthermore, with 2 smart outlets, the user can independently power and control two devices. The manufacturers add that the plug will easily link with Alexa or Google to control devices by voice. The KMC Smart app will, the makers state, allow the user to automate connected devices based on conditions like time, sunrise/sunset, weather and more. Set up, the makers say, is easy: simply download the KMC Smart app and follow the in-app instructions to get started. With a few taps the user also can share control of their devices with family and friends. UL/ETL Certified. Lifetime Warranty. US-based Customer Support. Unfortunately, I wasn’t thinking that hard when I ordered this item from Amazon Vine. Because actually, I can more easily take a few steps to start my teas maid than learn how to use this device. And nothing in my kitchen is that far away. Want to use the toaster? Fine. Just put the bread or whatever in, turn on. Similarly, for the toaster oven. Am not saying this device wouldn’t work for some people: just saying I dont seem to need it.

Greater than one weekCaveat: I already owned at least one remote plug in this same family, so I already had the appropriate app to recognize the smart plug and that made the steps quite easy. I dont recall finding or registering for the app to be onerous, however, so that doesnt play into my review at all. This plug is very solid and is replacing a Belkin plug that just stopped working after 2 years. I chose this because I really did want two independent plugs and was happy to replace my single plug. This is shifted off to the side, so despite having two plugs, it doesnt block more than one outlet and has a much smaller profile than the plug that it is replacing. It has two naming options: both the plug as a whole and the two outlets on the plug. Thats really convenient if, for example, you want to turn off a light but not a fan, etc. Other than that, it does pretty much exactly what you would expect. The most complicated parts of installation. my helpful hints if you are having trouble: 1) The plug does not match any image of the plugs in the accompanying app. (The instructions that come with the plug do tell you what to choose as an option, however, and that worked fine.) 2) Trying to get the appropriate lights blinking was a little bit of a guessing game. The installation directions tell you to hold the reset button -- but there is no power or reset button that is obvious. There are two carat/arrow buttons (one on top and one on the bottom). I assumed that they pointed to the plugs that they control (and they probably do in some contexts) but they ALSO serve as the reset (TOP arrow button) and blue light (BOTTOM arrow button) controls. 3) If you hold down the top arrow button, it serves as the reset and will eventually cause the red light flash that you need. You can then press the bottom arrow button to get the blue light to accompany it and to pair the plug appropriately. Once it was paired, it was super easy -- my Alexa app recognized it straight off and I added it to a group which is also using it with no errors or issues. However, I give it four stars because of the guesswork involved in getting that original flashing down.

> 3 dayI ordered these to shutoff appliances/speakers and chargers that I do not use or need during higher electricity peak times (TOU). This is a dual outlet smart plug that can operate each plug independently. Youll need to add it (or create one) to your Tuya (SmartLife) application. Its really easy to do - simply press the on/off button (on either one) and hold it down until the red light blinks. It will now be in pairing mode and is ready to add. I am using this within Home Assistant and it works without issue. It was immediately recognized and works flawlessly with my automation routines. I also like that the plug is off center so that you can use the other outlet without it being blocked (works great with power bricks).

> 3 dayThis device functions well, but does not suit my application. The basic problems are physical. I want to control two LED aquarium lights that are powered with wall warts. The first issue is that there isnt enough space between the sockets for them both to be plugged in. The second issue is that the power block pushes the devices switches and turns them on an off.
