Once I was able to get through the integration process with Alexa everything works perfect. Having to take the time and set up an account using the Smart Life app was a little excessive just to link with Alexa. But once the process was complete Alexa linked the plugs just fine.

I have to reset the outlets minimally once per day. Completely defeats the purpose of having them. They constantly go offline. When they work, they are great. But that is few and far between! Highly recommend…avoiding…

This was so reasonably priced I was worried about quality. But its great. It is as good as the much more expensive smart plugs that I own. No downside. It was easy to download App and connect with both Google and Alexa. Having two separate, controlable plugs is really a GREAT feature. Glad I bought two... will probably buy even more.

I use these for my lamps around the house. They are so nice and easy to use. They are also fantastic if you have an outlet with an outlet extender. It allows you to add this to an outlet extender without covering up all the other outlets. I have the other ones around the house the circular ones this brand is great! Cheap and reliable!

You do have to install their app to set it up, but thats with anything

This product is easy to use and setup. Once setup, everything could be controlled through your phone using their app. Want to schedule stuff to make sure it turns off at specific times. Making regular stuff smart without needing to do anything but changing the plug. Great to use very satisfied.

I moved into a place that had vaulted ceilings and no installed lights in the room. So I had to buy multiple lamps and lights to place around the room to light it which was more difficult because of the high ceilings. I bought this plug and a few single ones of the same brand and was able to install them fairly easily and connect them all to my app. I even have them connected to my Google assistant hub in my room. So I leave the lights in the on position and just say hey Google turn off lights and all the switches will turn off which is very convenient considering they are all on different outlets. Something to note is that certain types of lights (my example is fairy lights that have the remote with 8 different settings) will not work the same way when I say hey Google turn lights on. The outlet will turn on but unlike the other lamps I have that will turn on when I say to turn on, the fairy lights require me to manually turn on the lights each time. The turn off feature works since the outlet is switched off but I do have to manually turn the fairy lights back on with the remote or the manual button on the lights themselves. Because of this, I chose not to use these outlets for that reason but for every other use I have them for, I enjoy them.

Ive got more appliances, lights etc. in my home on the Smart Life app. Adding another was a breeze. You just press the button until the light flashes and then do a standard discover new device in the app. If you are new to Alexa or Google smart devices its a good idea to get this smart plug set because once you see how convenient it is to control lights, and a whole slew of other things with just your voice, you will get the fever, and want to automate things all over the house. The other advantage to this KMC duo smart plug is that it installs into your outlet sideways. I cant tell you how many outlets I have completely tied up with only one smart switch that hogs the footprint blocking the ability to plug something else into the same outlet. They are not all that way, but it happens frequently enough to really appreciate this one. On top of that, this set is engineered to be a double stack with twin doubles side by side; great idea. All in all, a 5-star combination.

When I first got there, I was skeptical. But a few days later, I decided to give a few minutes of setup. What I discovered is that...like Siri and other devices...you learn how a thing as you play with them. Currently, I have just some blocks to play within which I can turn on a light and turn it. As well, I also have it set up to remember things. Once you are in the groove...who can stop!
