Good dual smart plugs. They work with the Smart Life app and the sockets can be controlled individually. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the two physical buttons are on the front and get covered by whatever power adapters you insert. You cant get to them unless you plug out the power adapters. Its not a biggie, but still its annoying. Recommended.

We used to have individual timers for each pair of candles in the LR, DR, Garage, at the LR windows facing the side (we live on a corner), in the master BR and Guest BR. The timers are so imprecise, they were coming on and off quite staggered. With these outlets I can controls all of them and two wreaths out front from a single app on my phone. In the 1990s my Dad used to string 3-400 of 2-wire cord around his house in Richmond. He bought the cord in bulk and connected candles on all three levels of a very large house. Now I do the same but with (secured) WiFi.

This product is easy to use and setup. Once setup, everything could be controlled through your phone using their app. Want to schedule stuff to make sure it turns off at specific times. Making regular stuff smart without needing to do anything but changing the plug. Great to use very satisfied.

I bought a few pairs of these and after a struggle (if you unplug them from the plug you synced them up with I would have to do it over), I got a few to work. Ordered these cuz they were on sale and . . . Christmas. When they got here, not only can I NOT sync them to the app on my phone, they actually DELETED some of the plugs I had previously set up! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Caveat: I already owned at least one remote plug in this same family, so I already had the appropriate app to recognize the smart plug and that made the steps quite easy. I dont recall finding or registering for the app to be onerous, however, so that doesnt play into my review at all. This plug is very solid and is replacing a Belkin plug that just stopped working after 2 years. I chose this because I really did want two independent plugs and was happy to replace my single plug. This is shifted off to the side, so despite having two plugs, it doesnt block more than one outlet and has a much smaller profile than the plug that it is replacing. It has two naming options: both the plug as a whole and the two outlets on the plug. Thats really convenient if, for example, you want to turn off a light but not a fan, etc. Other than that, it does pretty much exactly what you would expect. The most complicated parts of installation. my helpful hints if you are having trouble: 1) The plug does not match any image of the plugs in the accompanying app. (The instructions that come with the plug do tell you what to choose as an option, however, and that worked fine.) 2) Trying to get the appropriate lights blinking was a little bit of a guessing game. The installation directions tell you to hold the reset button -- but there is no power or reset button that is obvious. There are two carat/arrow buttons (one on top and one on the bottom). I assumed that they pointed to the plugs that they control (and they probably do in some contexts) but they ALSO serve as the reset (TOP arrow button) and blue light (BOTTOM arrow button) controls. 3) If you hold down the top arrow button, it serves as the reset and will eventually cause the red light flash that you need. You can then press the bottom arrow button to get the blue light to accompany it and to pair the plug appropriately. Once it was paired, it was super easy -- my Alexa app recognized it straight off and I added it to a group which is also using it with no errors or issues. However, I give it four stars because of the guesswork involved in getting that original flashing down.

No issues with these at all. Came and right out of the box they make it easy to set up and download the app. App is easy and self explanatory. Control is easy as well. Love having two outlets for one plug. So convenient especially with Christmas lights. I do not have it hooked up to Alexa or anything like that. App is great, easy to rename the plugs so you know what they control.

This device functions well, but does not suit my application. The basic problems are physical. I want to control two LED aquarium lights that are powered with wall warts. The first issue is that there isnt enough space between the sockets for them both to be plugged in. The second issue is that the power block pushes the devices switches and turns them on an off.

Got mine a few days ago. One of the slot did not work, and suddenly it damaged my router, it started restarting a few times and now Iy just turned off devices connected to it, Im afraid it caused damages to my electronics. I chatted with amazon about the issue. All they said was that I need to send it back from my country which is the Dominican Republic to the USA, I got not problem sending it back, but Amazon wont pay for shipping overseas, it will cost around 90us for me senting this 20 dollars item back for a refund. It does not make any sense. Do not buy it, be Careful with your devices. Amazon wont pay for them!

Alexa, turn the Christmas trees off! Its THAT easy. 1. Install the KMC app and sync the plugs (took me maybe 2 minutes max?) 2. Open the alexa app and associate the plugs (under the outlet/plug section, go figure!) 3. command those lights! These have the added feature of TWO plugs per outlet, each of which has a physical on/off toggle on the switch for individual work. In my experience, Alexa just commands the unit as a whole, but the KMC app lets you run each outlet. Easy, cheap, works!
