This product is easy to use and setup. Once setup, everything could be controlled through your phone using their app. Want to schedule stuff to make sure it turns off at specific times. Making regular stuff smart without needing to do anything but changing the plug. Great to use very satisfied.

This was very easy to set up and works perfectly. I previously had the KMC app installed and working with a couple other KMC devices. It promptly found the dual wi-fi smart plug and with a bit of prompting, programmed it for my network. Both plugs are independently controllable but can also be turned on and off together. They can also be separately named...effectively, its like having two separate devices in one package. The only feature missing (which is non-essential) is a power monitor like those found in my other KMC plugs. Once I had them configured, Alexa found the plugs and added them to the list of controllable devices. No complaints. I wish all smart accessories were this easy to set up and use...

Installed these in places that make it easy to have Alexa turn on/off for you. You can also schedule these to turn on/off at certain times.

I like that these plugs double my usable outlets and they work with Alexa. Once set up, these KMC Smart Plug Duo, 2-Outlet Wi-Fi Smart Plugs work independently of each other! That is great. I can turn off one outlet and the other outlet is independent and stays on. I was also able to name a group to my plug to work together if I want. Set up is not difficult, it took me about 30 minutes the first time to download the app and set up. I just took my time. The second plug set up went by in about 10 minutes. I spent more time trying to name the outlets, for ease of use. If you can set up Alexa you can easily add these outlets. See my pictures.

Got mine a few days ago. One of the slot did not work, and suddenly it damaged my router, it started restarting a few times and now Iy just turned off devices connected to it, Im afraid it caused damages to my electronics. I chatted with amazon about the issue. All they said was that I need to send it back from my country which is the Dominican Republic to the USA, I got not problem sending it back, but Amazon wont pay for shipping overseas, it will cost around 90us for me senting this 20 dollars item back for a refund. It does not make any sense. Do not buy it, be Careful with your devices. Amazon wont pay for them!

Used these along with Alexa for Christmas lights and it was so much more convenient than setting up timers for each outlet. Love that these can be set up for multiple items and turned on and off whenever I want with voice control.

Alexa, turn the Christmas trees off! Its THAT easy. 1. Install the KMC app and sync the plugs (took me maybe 2 minutes max?) 2. Open the alexa app and associate the plugs (under the outlet/plug section, go figure!) 3. command those lights! These have the added feature of TWO plugs per outlet, each of which has a physical on/off toggle on the switch for individual work. In my experience, Alexa just commands the unit as a whole, but the KMC app lets you run each outlet. Easy, cheap, works!

First of all I like the package. Each receptacle is independent so you can control two different devices and at different times. Thats pretty unique. Once setup it works great with no problems and the app couldnt be simpler. There is a different button for each side of the receptacle. Now notice I wrote once set up that is my issue. I tried for a good hour trying to get the app to pair with the Duo plug. I tried everything: plugging and unplugging, manual scan, auto scan, pressing and holding each power button (the led was already flashing) - nothing worked. The app would not discover the device and timed out after two minutes. Finally I unplugged the Duo and restarted my Pixel 3 smart phone. Once the phone booted up I plugged in the Duo and the app found it instantly. Since Im using an android google pixel 3 I dont know if this is an android issue or a KMC issue but Ill give them the benefit of the doubt.

I did not like the fact that it goes off line to many time.

What I like: Straightforward setup to a common iOS application used for smart devices. Arrows and lights point to the outlet of interest. App allows for independent or synchronized operation. What could be better: Written instructions could have been more clearly written to indicate how to place the unit into pairing / configuration mode. This is a great time to be a Smart Home techno geek. Vendors seem to be falling all over themselves to create increasingly versatile and reliable gadgets. This unit fits that description nicely. You may independently control each outlet, using the hardware pushbutton switch, an iOS app, or in my case, using Alexa. Fun and convenient. My only pause is the units first-use state was not in pairing mode. I was able to figure out how to initiate the pairing function, so no big deal. Just wish the vendor did a better job in describing this first step. I already had the iOS app installed and it was easy enough to associate this device to my home and get started. The device feels of sufficient quality and heft to imply a solid build. No complaints with design or function. Five stars.
