> 3 dayI ordered these to shutoff appliances/speakers and chargers that I do not use or need during higher electricity peak times (TOU). This is a dual outlet smart plug that can operate each plug independently. Youll need to add it (or create one) to your Tuya (SmartLife) application. Its really easy to do - simply press the on/off button (on either one) and hold it down until the red light blinks. It will now be in pairing mode and is ready to add. I am using this within Home Assistant and it works without issue. It was immediately recognized and works flawlessly with my automation routines. I also like that the plug is off center so that you can use the other outlet without it being blocked (works great with power bricks). The single KMC Smart Plug Duo, 2-Outlet Wi-Fi Smart Plug is pricey for 1 unit. However if you order the 2 pack it is a much better deal at only $10 each!

> 3 dayCould not get them to connect. I have 2 or 3 other types of plugs that you plug in, add Wi-Fi password and name in the Alexa app and done in 5 minutes. After an hour of trying it keep’s timing out. App is no help. Ordered for myself and for Christmas gift, but definitely returning and will reorder the ones I have that work.

> 3 dayWhen I first got there, I was skeptical. But a few days later, I decided to give a few minutes of setup. What I discovered is that...like Siri and other devices...you learn how a thing as you play with them. Currently, I have just some blocks to play within which I can turn on a light and turn it. As well, I also have it set up to remember things. Once you are in the groove...who can stop!

> 3 dayPros: Uses standard Smart Life app. Easy to set up. Does not cover the other outlet. Has two plugs and you can control them separately through the app (but not through talkint Alexa) Con: Cant get the plugs to work independently when asking Alexa to turn them on/off.

> 3 dayIve only used one so far but it has lasted a month and a half and is working great. Getting it connected was easy. The app is easy to use to program it.

> 3 dayI purchased this plug specifically for a vanity with two lights. It was easy to set up and it worked perfectly for a while. Now I guess I will have to unplug and reinstall it because Alexa keeps turning on only one of the lights. I can manually turn on the other light, but that means I have to reach down for the plug...not handy. Technically, mechanically this plug in works for both lights. But, whatever the problem, Alexa no longer turns on both lights. I am sure redoing the set up will fix it. But, what changed it to begin with? Will it happen again? So, whether it is the switch or Alexa, it is their integration that is not working. Just know that you may have to reset it from time to time when Alexa decides to not get along with Duo.

Greater than one weekVery nice product. Allows you to independently control two devices through one outlet and still have a free opening for a non-Alexa use. Intuitive set up relatively easy.
