> 24 hourPurchased this after a colleague pulled a similar one out at a work meeting and found it to be possibly an invaluable tool for collaboration. It looks nice, well packaged, sleek, but it really falls short in picture quality. I dont know what it is, but it doesnt seem to actually output correct resolution - it shows up in Windows as 1080P but it is certainly not displaying as 1080P. When you change the setting, it seems to want to try to be, but then reverts back to something worse than 720P - even being worse than the native 1366x768 on my built in laptop screen. Text looks fuzzy and my guess is that if I spent a significant amount of time looking at it - Id probably get a headache. For the amount of time Ill be using it - I might just make do - but it aint great.

> 24 hourI was a bit hesitant to buy this portable monitor at first, but after setting it up and tweaking the display settings a bit, I found it to be convenient, compact, and a great addition to my home work space. However, after using this portable monitor for four days, Im beginning to have my doubts again. For three out of the four days, Ive had issues powering the portable monitor on. In order to get my monitor to turn on I have to alternate the external power source cord between the two usb ports each time I attempted to turn the monitor on. If this werent an issue, Id say this monitor is great after customizing the display settings to meet your preferences. In summary, this monitor is decent, or even good at times, but Id recommend going with one that has a more dependable power system than this one, especially for the price.

> 24 hourI had been eyeing this model for a while, and found it greatly discounted on Prime Day (I subbed to Prime to just to get this deal). The packaging was very nice and protective. Also included were 3 cables, a power brick (similar in size to what youd have for a cellphone), the folding carry case/stand, and even a screen protector. You have to install the screen protector yourself, but it was nice to have it included. The monitor itself is very slim and easily fits into my laptop case. I dont even need to carry the power brick that came with it, because the screen powers on via my PCs USB-C port. Very convenient! The screen is as vibrant as my newer Dell laptops screen (Inspiron). I ran a few dead or stuck pixel tests found on YouTube and it passed with no problems. The controls include a multifunction rocker and button switch which makes it easy to make screen adjustments, such as brightness. The on-board speakers are decent, but not as good as those in my 17 laptop. If you have a very compact laptop, the speakers in the KYY may actually be better. The included headphone jack is appreciated, although most laptops still have such a jack. If you have a newer Samsung phone this will be important to know. Im not a big gamer, but I tries just a little FPS gaming to check the response rate and to see if there was any ghosting. It looked very good. My main use is for productivity. Just having another screen to open up a web browser or office document does wonders for getting work done. You cant connect a full-size HDMI connector, Thats the only downside, but thats understandable due to the frames thinness. Just use the included HDM-to mini-HDMI cable. I will update this review if needed in the future, and I hope that I wont need to use the 12 month warranty. So far, this has been a great purchase for my needs. UPDATED October 7, 2021 After several months of usage and frustration due to one major flaw, I decided to return and provide an update to my initial review. I bought this unit to take with me on the road, which means that Im setting it up and packing it in my computer case quite often. I think thats a normal use-case for something called a Portable Monitor. I find that the screen is fairly dim, but thats not the source of my frustration, because turning up the brightness usually makes it useable. The problem is that every time you remove power (like each time youre packing up), the monitor loses all of its settings. This means you have to tweak the settings (like the brightness) each and every time you set it up. A monitor that is marketed as Portable should retain all of its settings upon removal from the power source. Disappointing! NOVEMBER 6, 2021 UPDATE============================ KYY customer service reached out to me and is truly top notch! Thank you KYY. If you want to be sure to get a unit that remembers your settings upon power-down, check out KYY model K3-1.

> 24 hourIll be honest, Ive had this portable monitor for a few weeks and Im still kind of learning it. I think I need to do some more tweaking to maximize the display. I dont really care about the sound part. I did use some leftover laptop cover to hide the large KYY on the bottom of the monitor (personal preference). I found a great & cheap stand to help it in my specific placement. My largest piece of advice for this monitor is to get either different USB-C cord, or some right angle adapters (which I did). The USB-C to USB-C cord provided works fine (its the only one I have needed so far), but I have limited space, so it took too much to have them sticking out so far. You can see in my pics how much space I saved by using the USB right angle adapters.

> 24 hourAwesome companion for the road. It’s actually 14.5” inches fits in most backpacks, I recommend buying a padded case for it unless you have a super padded laptop bag. Great options for connectivity. Great resolution as week, not a gaming monitor to be cleared. I am in Tech and this is a great monitor for the road warrior.

> 24 hourThis is exactly what I needed. I just needed a second monitor or screen extender because I find working for long hours on a laptop to be inconvenient while I am at home. The resolution is actually better than my Lenovo lol. Its super light weight and has all the functions that a normal monitor does. It even has its own speakers which is an added bonus. I was not looking for anything like that but if you are the sound is not bad. Easy to connect and comes with all the extra attachments for practically any laptop. I do suggest to read the connection type carefully and make sure your device is compatible, as I said it comes packaged with several adapters and attachments, but just on that off chance you dont want to be surprised take the time to read about the product.

> 24 hourI work remotely and from various locations (such as WeWork) that dont usually have workstations. Having a second screen is almost necessary for the development work I do and this monitor has been the perfect solution. It connects directly to my laptop, comes with the necessary cables, requires no external power supply and virtually no setup at all. I plugged it in and it worked immediately. The supplied case doubles as an adjustable stand and is very compact & easy to pack in my backpack or laptop bag. Screen quality, color, & brightness are decent - not the greatest - but really good for the price. Ive had it for 5 months without issue. Would highly recommend!

> 24 hourI use 2 monitors for work and do a lot of spreadsheet work. When traveling, just using my laptop is a pain. This connects easily (after I bought the proper connector because I have an older laptop) and its great as a second monitor. My boss even borrowed it when he was out on medical leave and only had his laptop.
