I have been carrying this monitor around for a year at college. I keep it in a thin protective sleeve (some sort of foam) along with books and notepads in my backpack. It looks just as good today as Id did out of the box. I appreciate the magnetic protector that doubles as a stand. A single USB C cable provides power and video (via thunderbolt 4). It works great for zoom, PowerPoint, Excel, etc... I can not speak to its gaming or content creation properties. I am a happy customer and recommend this monitor for the college student needing a second monitor.

This is a a great monitor. Compact. Case is well made and functional (I wish it had a place for cable storage). What really made me fall in love with the monitor was when I had a problem. After 4 or 5 months of occasional use I couldnt get an image. It had worked flawlessly up until then. Amazon put me in touch with Kathy at KYY and she ran me through some troubleshooting steps. She pointed out that I needed a type C 3.1 connector. Since it had worked fine before this with the connectors I had, I was dubious, but ordered the specied cable. Sure enough that fixed it. Why did it work before with a 2.0 connector and not now? Who knows. Maybe bios or video upgrade got pushed out. Either way I was up and running in a day. Highly recommended. The cable type is disclosed in the description. I bought the Fasgear C 3.1 Gen2. I like the 90 degree connection.

In terms of design, construction and portability I have to say that the device feels well built from corner to corner, as the case is built in an aluminum unibody (apparently). I have no doubt that this device could withstand moderate drops or impacts. Its design is quite suitable, so that it doesnt take up a lot of space when carrying it. And speaking of carrying, it weighs just under 2 pounds, which collectively checks all the boxes for practicality. Brightness has been quite adequate for me, since I have my studio in a fairly bright room and so far I have not had the need to increase the brightness above 70%. The image quality is FullHD at 60Hz which is not remarkable, but not bad either. However, I have to say that I had my doubts about image lag, since I had seen some reviews of other similar products and people were continually complaining about this aspect, which had me very concerned about. After having run several tests with my PS4 and computers, I can say that the aspect of lag is practically unnoticeable to me. In conclusion, this seems to me to be a very solid product, taking into account its price and the options available in that range. -- En cuanto a diseño, construcción y portabilidad tengo que decir que el dispositivo se siente bien construido por de esquina a esquina, ya que la carcasa está construida en un solo cuerpo de aluminio (aparentemente). Sin embargo, debo decir que tenía mis dudas en cuanto a retraso de la imagen con respecto a las entradas, ya que había visto algunas revisiones de otros productos y las personas se quejaban continuamente de este aspecto, cosa que me había preocupado mucho. Después de haber realizado varias pruebas, puedo decir que el aspecto del retraso es prácticamente imperceptible para mí. En conclusión, este me parece un producto muy sólido, tomando en cuenta su precio y las opciones disponibles en ese rango.

Great value, especially that it has two USB-C ports. For capable devices, looks exactly like any other USB-C monitor. Nice package, good power adapter (although it powers itself via any USB-C adapter I have found), and great magnetic stand case. I didnt buy it for sound, so I didnt look at that when buying, and the sound is a bit reminiscent of tinny old laptop speakers from decades ago before laptop audio got good. Dont buy this if you need good sound out of your external monitor. Even then, you cant beat the overall value from what Ive seen, plus in my area, it was delivered same-day. I was worried for a minute when I looked online for a digital version of the manual. Even the domain name on the manual is dead. But the PDF of the manual is right here on the Amazon product page, so all good, and which is always a nice touch. I get why you might skip the hassle of your own website, but at least redirect the domain to your Amazon store is my suggestion.

I recently bought a portable monitor from a different brand, and it had a lot of issues. I only had a $10 difference between this and the other one. I ordered this one and it came SAME DAY (well done Amazon). As soon as I opened it up, I plugged it in, and it worked right away- no connector issues, and the screen quality is much better than I had expected. Its pretty comparable to the one I have in my office at work! I also like this monitor because it doesnt have to be plugged into a wall for power, which will allow me to travel much easier.

I love my KYY monitor. Its come in clutch for all the zoom meetings that I need to host and cant see the powerpoint Im sharing while still seeing participants. Its heavier than I expected, but I would equate that with durability. Its thin and slips in my computer bag without too much effort either. I waited to create my review so I could be very sure that the quality was there before giving a 5 star rating, but this unit deserves it. The only thing that would be better is if the compact USB plugs could be labeled as it seems they are dedicated - one for power and one for extending the screen. Thats the only thing that I think could be better with this one. Super valuable product!

During the pandemic, I started working from home everyday and my office was eventually given up by my employer so my entire dept. is fully WFH now. I enjoyed working outside but could only do it for so long since I generally need a 2nd screen as I work with a lot of spreadsheets with many columns doing financial analysis. When I discovered these USB powered monitors I gave it a shot and its made me able to work outside whenever I want. Overall I love this monitor and would recommend it. The price is good, it works right out of the box with ease, it comes with all the necessary adapters, and the case work great. I work mainly with spreadsheets and #s so a super sharp screen isnt necessary so I cant comment how well this does for gaming or video but for financial work, I find it more than adequate. Just 1 criticism: the screen isnt super bright so on a bright sunny day you could have issues. Its not unusable by any means but not quite as bright as what youd get from an iPad or premium laptop. Im sure theres other monitors that can provide superior brightness.

I bought this to use as a second monitor while working away from home for several weeks. For short trips, I dont mind working on only my laptop. But if Im going to be working away from my huge, widescreen monitor at home, I knew I would be more effective with a second monitor. I love that this one is portable and nearly the same price as other monitors. My favorite features: - Includes a magnetic case and stand - High quality image - Includes all of the cables you will ever need (USB-C to USB-C lightning cable for power and display, HDMI cable + power adaptor so my laptop battery doesnt need to provide power to the monitor) Critical feedback: - Built-in speakers are... nothing to write home about. The description makes it seem like theyre going to great monitor speakers, but they are tinny and quiet. My laptops built-in speakers are significantly louder. Not that big of a deal because I use this monitor for work. But you might think twice if youre planning to use this for gaming or videos and you plan to use the built-in speakers.

March 2, 2023: update: great customer service! They reached out to me based on my Feb 12th review and replaced the product without and hassle. I haven’t tried out the replacement yet, but fingers crossed! Feb 12, 2023: This monitor was GREAT!... for 6 months. Then it started glitching - it would connect and disconnect every 10 seconds or so, sending my computer into a confusing spin of jumping screens. So right around the time that the warranty ended, so did the monitors functionality.
