I use this as a portable monitor for working while I travel. That being said the picture quality isnt insane and the screen isnt as bright and poppy as this image might suggest (knew this going into it as I had seen a colleague use this monitor in person, but gave this 4 stars since its a little misleading). Since I dont really use this for gaming/watching movies this still works perfect for what I need it for, is portable, comes with its own case/stand, looks good, and is a great price. I had some initial issues where I could use bluetooth headsets and the Portable Monitor at the same time. This is something I was able to tweak with my laptop settings in order to work with my set up, but since its first and foremost a second monitor I would not have expected it to not try to make decisions on audio outputs/inputs. Again, thats just a small issue thats easily fixable with some settings adjustments, but just something I wanted to point out.

I just started working remotely and I have 2 monitors in addition the my laptop. I needed a Portable monitor to take on vacation and I saw this one at my cousins house. I bought it for myself right away. The size is perfect. They screen quality is great. The speaker isnt the best but I use the speaker on my laptop anyway. Super easy to connect to my laptop so I can extend the image across 2 screens. And compact enough that I can fit both my laptop and this monitor in my laptop bag. Great buy!

Edit: Customer service reached out and was very nice and apologetic. They sent me a new monitor and a refund for the broken one. I haven’t gotten a chance to really use the new one yet but hopefully the old one was just a dud. Bumping up a 1 star review to a 3 Old review: I had been keeping this screen in my backpack for a week or so and when I took it out, the pixel layer under the glass had “cracked” the glass itself was fine, but it was unusable. I had to throw it out which was a huge bummer because I’m on the road for the next 2 months and won’t be able to pick up a new one. I didn’t drop it or treat it roughly either and my other screen in my backpack was perfectly fine.

The display backlight failed on my early 2013 Macbook Pro last week, during law school, and this seemed like a good temporary solution before I could get another computer. I ordered it Tuesday night and received it Thursday afternoon. My laptop only has an HDMI output, so I was glad this screen too that input, not just USB-C. I use this in front of the old display, held up by Velcro dots. Its pretty bright (although not quite so bright as the original screen in full sunlight), and extremely sharp. Did have to do some color calibration and tweaking of settings for optimal display, but thats expected. I also love that it can be powered by the USB port on my laptop. Only real downside (aside from clunkiness) with this setup is the USB power and laptops dedicated GPU mean reduced battery life, but its still cheaper than a new laptop. Also, I have to manually adjust the brightness based on my setting, but thats to be expected. As others have said, this monitor might not be the best for audiovisual work, and I cant speak as to gaming delay (although I notice no input lag in regular use), but for text-based work (in-class notes, and the occasional YouTube video) its more than adequate—actually a bit better than Id hoped for the price. That said, I have noticed only one issue with the monitor itself: At certain low brightness settings (around 1-5 out of 100), a weird quiet buzzing noise comes through the speakers, even when muted (I use the MacBooks built-in speakers, rather than this monitors). This usually goes away with an increase of a brightness point or two, but is a bit weird. Aside from that, a week later of daily portable in-class use, its working well for me.

I got this today and it was better than expected. Was super easy to set up, worked well and right away and really surprised me when I was able to basically use my phone as a laptop on it. I gave 4 stars for 1 reason only and it really doesnt deserve to lose a star because this isnt something I was particularly looking for when purchasing it but its not touch screen.. there thats it everything else is AMAZING! Hope it last a long time!!

I work full time from home, and in my office I use two monitors. But when May comes, I stay at my campground and it is much harder to do my job efficiently with just a laptop. This screen is PERFECT! It’s the same size as my laptop so my eyes easily transition from one screen to the other. You need to be able to plug it in, but that’s not a big deal. The only complaint I have is that the case (which acts as a stand) doesn’t hold it upright very well. If you bump it, it falls down. But if you get it set up and put something in front or behind to help stabilize, it doesn’t do that. I usually put my water bottle behind it and that works just fine. My team of 5 decided to get one too based on how much I like mine. So they can work from their deck on nice days,

Ive been traveling with 2 of these for the last year to have a 3 monitor laptop setup when I travel for work or just want to work outside. 2 type C USB ports on the side of the laptop and thats all it takes to have 3 screens wherever I set up. No additional cables, power, etc needed. These are perfect for what I needed them for! Fold up flat, stack nicely, and their stands are adequate.

22yr+ Sr. System Administrator, and I needed something to be able to work in one screen while using another screen to reference notes or setup instructions...etc. This works great, and I can plug my laptop USB-C power in to one of the ports, then use the USB-C cord to link the screen to my laptop. This allows power to the screen and to my laptop!! Works great. The tri-pod magnetic stand is not my favorite, but it does what its supposed to and protects the screen in transport. I would like to find a hard case style that has a kick-stand in the back... but that would ad bulk to it. Ive used this screen about 10 times so far and Ive yet to find a flaw. The speakers are, well, no better than your iphone or android speakers, its nothing you will rely on for cranking out tunes. I tried it on a call using my laptop as the speaker phone and it was tough to hear at times. I would use the speakers on your laptop, and its better than no sound if youre using another type of device that doesnt have sound. Overall highly recommend this, and I got it for a great deal!

Lovely monitor. Unfortunately I’ve only had mine for 16 days and now screen just color cycles through red, blue and green. When it was working, it was more than enough to get the job done! Oh well. UPDATED: After speaking with the company, it seemed the first one I received was experiencing a defect. The replacement one however, works as I had hoped. No issues to report and seems to be functioning well. Very quick response time when booting up/detecting the input. HDR is decent and functions well as well. Have used with both MacOS and Windows. Great addition to the setup.
