> 3 dayHaving recently purchased a steamdeck and also an L-shaped desk I figured that the real state that I possess could serve well with a Steamdeck in desktop mode. So lets begin by saying that the Standalone monitor requires its own source of energy. Using the steamdeck dock as a source of power was not sufficient turn the screen on. Which means, I had a few more cables going around my new set up. No big deal! The quality of the picture is nothing to write home about. Its average and it displays average amount of colors. It isnt very bright either, but it isnt dark. Again, the screen brightness is about average as well. There is a volume control on the side that is spring tensioned (yeah weird huh?) pull it up to turn the volume up and down to turn it down. The volume control stick defaults in the middle. There is also a very tiny on and off button. It sits above the volume control stick, you cant miss it. Maybe it me, but I cant never tell when its on or off because there is no indication of it, outside of turning the attached device on. The biggest problem I have with this is that there a substantial perceived latency. At first I thought the steamdeck had issues recognizing my mouse, but I swapped it for another I had laying around and the latency was the same. I tried playing a few games and my biggest evidence is when the sound effects kick in vs when its displayed. There is a serious discrepancy in synchronization between the too, they barely match. This has led me to believe that this device is not a good component for gaming. I suspect it would be fine for watching videos. Now that I think of it, I dont think it would be even okay for professional use. The latency is very noticeable. The company actually sends you an e-mail after purchase, stating in its first paragraph that you should try to contact them if there is an issue before writing an Amazon review. I suspect this is a way to persuade people from bombing their review page with negatives - but I dont buy into it. The fact is this screen is kind of mediocre and that is expected for the price. Yes its very light and portable but latency should not be a compromise at all! I did my best to give this screen an unbiased review but for the sake of my intended purchase this is a no-go. Do not buy this for your Xbox, PS5 or Steamdeck.

> 3 dayI wanted a second screen for my macbook pro to make things like coding, taking notes while reading, and looking at things while in virtual meetings easier. Originally I was going to just get a plain stationary desktop to leave on my desk at home, but I travel a lot and liked the idea of being able to set up anywhere. It is pretty light and fits perfectly into my backpack. Someone recommended this to me and I think it was a great purchase! Super easy set up and I have been using it consistently for several months with no issues. Only tiny complaint is that the screen is pretty bright even at its lowest setting, which can be annoying for someone like myself who likes to work at night.

> 3 dayThe monitor is made of quality materials, and I have been very impressed by both the colors and brightness of this monitor. I was definitely not expecting this level of quality for the price. I have used it to mirror my phone screen, as a second monitor for my laptop, and I have used it to play on my Xbox series S. All three of those applications worked wonderfully. I also need to note that the seller reached out right after purchasing with helpful information and an offer to provide assistance with any difficulty. My phone was showing up in desktop mode when I connected, and I could not get the screen to mirror. I messaged the seller, which I only thought to do because of their prior message, and they walked me through getting the mirror option to work. I am extremely impressed with this product and this companys customer service. If you are trying to decide between this monitor and the seemingly identical monitors from other companies, I highly recommend that you choose this one.

> 3 dayWhen using it with a computer it works great. However I recently discovered that it will not connect to our Google Pixel phones. We have used several different cords and none will connect. My sister can connect to it with her Samsung phone without an issue though. From what I have researched, the phone may be what is blocking it from working.

Greater than one weekDay 1 review: Unboxed, plugged to Mac via usb-c provided and it worked. Happy with image quality, weight and screen cover. Look forward to using as 2nd monitor on the go and may just pop back and update this review for a slightly extended use feedback. For day 1, very happy customer!

> 3 dayThis is 200% better than the one I’m returning from big box store. No yellow glow on screen and crazy easy to set up. (1) Plug into power and (2) plug into source device. The stand/cover is awesome and can be adjusted to several angles. I’m traveling to visit a friend and need to get some 2-screen work done. This will do the trick!!!

> 3 dayThis is a great monitor, especially for the price. I did get it on a lightning deal so it was a bit of a bonus but it was one I was one I was considering already, it is a tiny bit annoying that it has no battery to maintain settings while your traveling but I have noticed it over time maintaining the brightness so I cant confirm whether this is a glitch or a feature as it is inconsistant.at any rate I was going budget since I needed it for when Im out of town so Im not going to complain for looking for something on the cheap end. My only wish is that the default settings where more optimized for quality like having the brightness at max or something because thats the first thing I turn up. Im not docking points because almost all monitors of this type are like that and the only ones that arent are way more expensive. What about the quality? Well so far so good. Watched a couple of movies and played my ps4 and switch on it, its got surprisingly good picture quality, and not suprising as in I was expecting crap and got slightly better than crap, its more like I was expecting it to be insufferable blurry and I got a chrisp and vibrant very manageable experience. A tad on the dark side but not detractors, it actually handles color and lighting very well! and even my dad commented that the device is nice looking. Infact even the outer shell feels like its good quality. The magnetic sleeve stands pretty good, it doesnt solve every single issue but it is help full. I would say the only downside is the speakers being a bit flat. They arent unbearable by any means but Id suggest getting a Bluetooth speaker or maybe a mini sound bar or something. Over all this is great for travel, and its good enough to Were I will be investing in a Vesa mount adapter kit and use this as my primary monitor for a while, provided it lasts a long while.
