> 3 dayIf this is your first fast refresh monitor, you will love ti. However, if you are very nit picky about gaming monitors, then this one will just be ok. However, I usually buy business class monitors for work (development), and I loved this monitor. It looked great, this stand was great allowing me to pivot to landscape, etc. I did end up returning the monitor, but not cause I did not like it. I got it on sale for a great price, and I could not find a second one close to that price, I run dual monitor setups. I would have love to keep it, as I would not have to buy a VESA mount. I ended up getting a couple Gigabyte monitor, with slight different specs but look the same. Anyway, this LG made me started to game a lot more just to see it in action. Trust me, thats the best compliment, as I rarely game, and just work non stop. Get it, you will like it.

> 3 dayOrdered 1 back in Nov 2022 and the IPS glow was horrendously bad and impossible to ignore when looking at a dark image or website (i.e. a dark themed site). There was a constant bright glow in the bottom left corner that took up about 25% of the display. Its as if the sun was glaring on your monitor, but the blinds are closed... and its night time... I ordered a replacement and that one had the same exact issue. Very likely it was a bad batch considering other people have not reported this and anyone with eyes would have noticed the IPS glow, but I personally wont buy an LG monitor for a while, at least not this line of monitors. I wish I had took some pictures to showcase it, but taking a picture of a monitors display also isnt an accurate measure of how good does this monitor look However, when I was playing games in bright scenes, the display looked great and had a high, smooth refresh rate. I would still recommend it, but if you have this issue, consider talking with Amazon or LG support to see if you can get a replacement from a different batch (or something along these lines) because the IPS glow was not acceptable quality control. Because of this, I wont give a number rating for the picture or brightness quality, but will rate the gaming experience as 4/5.

> 3 dayThis monitor serves my purpose just as I need. 144hz IPS 1440p. However, the first thing I did after setting it up was running the online ghosting test. After less than 5 minutes, I was left with burn marks from the white dots for the pursuit camera (the white dots in the black bars between the UFOs). I contacted support, performed a hard reset, and everything was back to normal. Trust me when I say it passed the test, though. There is a small amount of blur, 2millimeters at its worst, but these are the limits of IPS panels (especially budget IPS panels). It is likely the ghosting test just doesnt play nice with certain monitors due to its nature, but for a burn in to occur within 5 minutes of using the monitor is alarming, to say the least. Therefore: TURN ON YOUR SLEEP MODE I will be keeping this monitor, should I have no more issues. I will update this review if there is any more burn in and if it is permanent or not, and how it was caused. Update: It has been almost a year, and this monitor still performs beautifully. No dead pixels, no increase in blur.

> 3 dayIt is hard to convey what youve never had. I didnt realize how much of a difference this monitor would make because Id never had such a good monitor. The colors are deep, the picture is accurate, there is no ghosting or even a hint of it - its just so smooth. And I had a really good Dell ultrasharp for gaming. I also didnt realize how much I would like 1440 gaming. Or the high refresh rate. EVERY game I have looks like new. Its just wonderful. You cant go wrong with this one.

> 3 dayIve owned LG monitors before (specifically an Ultra 4K). I bought this monitor for primarily the specs! I needed 1440p and 144Hz. I have come to realize that a 27 monitor is perfect for me, as 32 and higher tend to be less precise and detailed for this resolution. The brightness is OK, but the color is awesome on this panel. The only area that concerned me at all when I got it up and running is that there is a slight shadowing along the left and right edge of the panel. Not enough to scare me away, but enough that I noticed. I typically only notice it when Im looking for it! Keep in mind when buying a monitor, there is always a bit of panel lottery that you can look forward to. On the bright side, there were NO Stuck or Dead pixels on this panel. My last monitor (pretty much the same specs) had a couple of dead pixels that were unrecoverable. The GUI on the this monitor is accessed on the power button at the bottom of the screen. It is a joystick style button that is very easy to use and make changes with. My last monitor had four specific buttons on the bottom of the monitor to access the GUI. I cant tell you how many times I messed up navigating around with that setup. This one is quick and easy. The available settings are adequate, but not that robust. Enough to dial in the monitor with basic settings. The bezel is fairly borderless on the top and sides. But even though the panel goes almost to the very edge of the display, the lighted area of the panel still leaves a about a quarter inch black border on those three sides. The bottom border has the LG logo, and is about 5/8 tall. The display powers on fairly quickly, and doesnt annoy you with a manufacturers splash screen. It only takes a couple of seconds for power-on to ready! Windows 10 recognized this monitor right away when I hooked it up, and even set itself to 144Hz without me doing anything at all. It is nVidia compatible, and is on nVidias approved list (my last monitor worked just fine, but was not on the approved list). I got this when it was temporarily price reduced, so keep your eye on it, or put it in your wish list items and wait for it to go on sale. This one went on sale, and was sold out on Amazon within half a day. The price jumped almost 30% later the day I bought this one, and was no longer in stock. I dont think you can go wrong with this product, and would recommend it to almost anyone.
