Greater than one weekThese LG Ultragear Gaming Monitors are still great in 2023. From the 1440p & 144hz, to the amazing OSD/UI for your desired settings. The stub on the bottom controls the OSD, and WOW! I never thought navigating through a OSD was so seemless (as Ive only had office Monitors before hand). Great upgrade, and excellent product. Note: Most people dont know about the required 1y warranty by LG. Just contact them, tell them the problem, and send it in to be repaired.

> 3 dayI upgraded to this from a 2008 1920x1200 2ms monitor. So I have to say my view may be skewed through that lens. That being said, I am very happy with this purchase. I have an EVGA RTX 3090 FTW and it pumps out great visuals at 1440p! Most games will max out at the 143fps (Windows 11 has a weird thing about decimals in refresh rates, so it defaults to 143 which is entirely fine with me. The viewing angles are very good and when compared side-by-side with my older monitor it is much less glossy. I can see my towers RGB reflecting in my old monitor like a mirror, but on this monitor its just a rainbow colored smudge that I never even notice unless Im looking for it against a black background. The shortcomings would be its lackluster HDR performance and also youre going to want to use a DisplayPort cable to ensure youre getting the max refresh rate with variable refresh rate through your Nvidia/AMD card. For the price, this is an excellent monitor that will look very good in a desktop setup. It even has an audio out port in case you want to use this with a console and not have to depend on headphones for audio.

> 3 dayI got this monitor primarily for having a good bang for you buck option geared towards photo editing, video editing, and gaming and it delivers on all of these options. Pros: Smooth 144 hz refresh rate- This is a first for me and being exposed to a high refresh rate monitor, especially for gaming, changes your perspective on what you see and how responsive everything is. If you are an avid gamer then having a higher refresh rate of 120 to even 240 hz is a must! For the average consumer, this isnt really all that noticable. Beautiful, near bezeless design- For me, Im not used to a very sleek design that doesnt use minimal bezels. It makes the display look modern and expensive. 2k Display!- The bump from 1080p to 2k is short but yet is a big change. Everything is just a little more detailed and sharpened. This is great especially for photo editing to get into the fine details. Fairly color accurate- Im not someone who is looking to get an exact 100% sRGB for editing but for the price, its a great option! They even have a sRGB monitor setting to give you the most accurate colors the monitor can deliver. I believe the monitor has 99% sRGB but please dont take my word for it! For non creatives, this wont mean much to you. Slight Antiglare- Since the display is an IPS panel, there is a little bit of anti glare built in. Its not much but compared to a standard LCD panel it makes working in the daylight with the curtains open manageable. Cons: Most of the problems come from how lucky you are at getting a decent stand and display. For me, my stand and display only show minimal downsides. The Stand- I personally dont mind the stand at all. It feels girthy and stable but there are a lot of other consumers who have stated otherwise. The minor complaints of mine about the stand are the base where it balances itself and the color accents. The base used to balance itself is fairly large and takes up a good amount of space. If you have a smaller desk then look out for this! And the color accents used for the monitor only come in red which for me isnt a big deal but for someone who uses a specific color scheme for their setups might want to look else where The Backlight Bleed- Since this display is an IPS display, there is always bound to be atleast some bleeding but with mine, it isnt too bad. It shows up on the left corner a little bit and the bottom left corner which can be noticable when the screen is all black. This did bother me when I first got it but after only using it for roughly 3 days, Ive gotten used to it. If youre not a fan of backlight bleed and it annoys you then please stay away from this display for your own sanity! Conclusion: A brilliant display that can be used with nearly all gamers and creatives. It has a little bit everything you need that serves as the in between of being low quality and cheap and high quality but expensive. Easily one of the most bang for your buck monitors on the market!

Greater than one weekThis is a very impressive monitor in terms of color, IPS panel, response times. 2k is a good resolution. Even if games start running better at 4k someday, you could downsample and get a nice picture. For the times though, 2K is a good sweet spot for high fps, for sure. The 27 inch size is great, but be aware the stand underneath is long and wide so it takes a lot of desk space. With two monitors it can be hard to get even a second smaller one in there comfortably on a smaller desk, for sure. Still I eventually managed to squeeze in a layout. Overall I consider this an awesome monitor, considerably more reliable than the $200 range VA panel one I had that accidentally broke, and this replaced it. That old monitor had flickering issues with freesync, this one works great out of the box, and has less color banding. I also like the HDR effect mode on pc gaming. I didnt try it right away thinking it would be a weak gimmick, but it actually looks pretty good. Mind you compared to a TV that supports HDR well, this is not the same thing, just a nice way to boost your image quality. HDR effect also doesnt offer much settings control as they become locked for many things, but response time, color, and image look great in it. The biggest real con with it is the price. It is a lot in my opinion. However, if you are extremely careful not to drop it or hit the screen with anything then I suspect it could last a really long time, like most monitors. So considering the features are great, I think a lot of people that use PC all the time can justify getting this. One other small con with it is the Onscreen Control app (download it from their website) that lets you set things up instead of using the monitors joystick is very barebones. I was disappointed the super handy on screen countdown timer feature and hot keys to change settings features from the budget $200 monitor arent here. On the other hand this monitor is much easier to get stunning visuals out of the box than a cheap budget panel and you hardly need to go into settings, but the lack of bells and whistles in settings other than the major important features was something I noted. Overall, Im highly pleased with this monitor so far. Might revisit this review over time if its standing up well over time or is not.

> 3 dayI absolutely love this monitor so far. For starters it shipped flawlessly. Opened it up and it was quite easy to assemble with only 3 or so pieces. Looked great the second I plugged it in and even better after I tweaked the visual settings. Sometimes I will be using it and just have to say out loud how much I love this monitor the only thing that would have made it better is if it was curved but for the price you cant beat the quality. This monitor is capable of 2k resolution and is perfect for people looking for a g-sync compatible monitor it comes with an hdmi and display port so no need to buy those either. Very vibrant color and a nice settings panel . I was at first confused as to where the settings button was for the monitor but I found it (its under the bottom screen border in the middle). This monitor does not have speakers and I would reccomend just getting a set of speakers from your favorite audio brand if it is in your budget. I have not had the best experience with built in monitor speakers. It does have red on the back of the monitor but it is hardly noticable from the front. It does not have a headset stand built in either. And the screen will not lower below about 3 1/2 inches. The structural integrity of the monitors frame is simple yet sturdy. (Note that these screens are not meant to be touched touching them could result in dead pixels). Overall I highly recommend this monitor because its a good bang for your buck but I also do advise doing some research and taking things into account such as where its going to be placed what picture quality your going for the purpose for getting the monitor ect... as an example this would be an over kill monitor for an office in most cases and you could go with something cheaper with different better features. Getting back on subject this PC is a very good slightly above mid range monitor for gaming and very impressive overall Im excited to see what it looks like with its corresponding gpu!

> 3 dayEverything I write is MY PERSONAL opinion. It may not match yours. I apologize if the monitor is bad for you. And thank you if the review was helpful. That was good choice. Good price, big enough, good picture, good refresh rate, it realy bright, colours are correct (for my eyes). Cables, 1.5 meters, included (1 HDMI, 1 DP). Flexible setting of parameters for yourself, and there are also presets that you can reconfigure. Everything works great so far. It has glare on the left bottom corner. I noticed it during the loading screen of Windows. First thought was that everything is bad, but then i forgot about it. In dark games I didnt see it. Cant say it about films, because I still havent watched so dark. Dont think that its gonna be a big problem The image becomes hazy only at an angle of about 150-160 degrees, but, anyway, still looks acceptable.

Greater than one weekThe power cord is not just too short, it is incredibly short. My desk is placed in the only spot that can accommodate everything, there is no moving it. And why should I have to reconfigure my entire room because LG didnt make their power cords long enough? Unless I can come up with a solution, this is going back. If you can supply me with a new, longer power cord, I would appreciate it.

> 3 dayThought this would be a great budget option to upgrade from my 27 1080p 60hz LG monitor as I own a PS5 and wanted to have improved resolution and response time. Im more of a casual gamer so I primarily use my monitor for work from home tasks and teams sharing. After using for for WFH I noticed significant eye strain compared to my previous monitor. May be just adjusting to the smaller resolution but I saw a lot of users with similar issues on Reddit. After more research I realized this is using a BOE MV270QHM-NF1 panel and not an LG panel and I also observed significant glow in the lower left hand corner. Gaming on my PS5 was great (turn off adaptive sync to get 1440p 120hz) but ultimately as this is a productivity first monitor I had to send it back. If youre just looking for a strictly gaming option at an affordable price wait for it to drop down to $246 and pick it up.
