This product functions very well and I am highly satisfied with the purchase, although my only problem is that with the way the border around the monitor is, it would make you think that the border is the small black strip around the edges, but there is actually black gap between the edges and the actual screen, but a good purchase anyways.

Ordered 1 back in Nov 2022 and the IPS glow was horrendously bad and impossible to ignore when looking at a dark image or website (i.e. a dark themed site). There was a constant bright glow in the bottom left corner that took up about 25% of the display. Its as if the sun was glaring on your monitor, but the blinds are closed... and its night time... I ordered a replacement and that one had the same exact issue. Very likely it was a bad batch considering other people have not reported this and anyone with eyes would have noticed the IPS glow, but I personally wont buy an LG monitor for a while, at least not this line of monitors. I wish I had took some pictures to showcase it, but taking a picture of a monitors display also isnt an accurate measure of how good does this monitor look However, when I was playing games in bright scenes, the display looked great and had a high, smooth refresh rate. I would still recommend it, but if you have this issue, consider talking with Amazon or LG support to see if you can get a replacement from a different batch (or something along these lines) because the IPS glow was not acceptable quality control. Because of this, I wont give a number rating for the picture or brightness quality, but will rate the gaming experience as 4/5.

Monitor died after 5 months of use. It powers on but the screen remains blank, it wont even show its own menus. Any computer it plugs into will freeze up and enter a boot loop until unplugged from the monitor. The monitor is well within the manufacturer warranty but the process is so deliberately obtuse that it may as well not exist. This is my last LG product for sure. Update: It took a few weeks of having to repeatedly ask if a shipping label had been sent before a CSR was able to confirm that one would be arriving. It did eventually show up and I was able to box up the monitor and drop it off with fedex at no charge to myself. Other than the tracking number I was given for the shipment to the repair facility I was not given any additional information at any point about the repair status. A few weeks later a new fedex tracking number was sent to me for the return trip; it arrived about a week later. It does appear to be working as expected again. We will see how long it lasts. My experience with the repair process seems about average, other reviewers have described both much faster/smoother experiences and much longer/difficult ones. In any case I am happy to have a working monitor or again and despite the inconvenience I am relatively pleased with the whole interaction.

This monitor is well worth the price for a budget friendly quality gaming monitor that is name brand. My only issue i have had is the original one was delivered on a really rainy stormy day and the monitor / packaging was ruined. Amazon effortlessly replaced it and it was delivered 2 days later. The key things you need to understand about the monitor: HDMI ports are HDMI 2.0, not 2.1. Best they can support is 1080p @ 120hz or 1440hz @ 100hz (series X can only do 60hz or 120hz, so i was limited to 1080p through the HDMI port). Easy fix for this is to get an HDMI 2.1 cable TO DisplayPort 1.4 CABLE ADAPTER. Quick amazon or google search and you can find one. I now have full use of monitor graphics playing on my xbox series X. TLDR; the powerful specs of this monitor are through DisplayPort. If you have HDMI only you WILL need to buy an adapter to use the DISPLAYPORT aspect. Otherwise well worth the money for name brand.

This monitor is high quality for its price or it was when I bought it but its now obsolete and I can only recommend it if its on a significant lower price than the nano version. Rtings have a custom ICC profile for this monitor, you may check that out in case that you decide to buy this. These UltraGear monitors will perform well and it comes with a stand that will allow you to rotate the monitor in case that you want to play a game with Tate mode. It comes with both HDMI and DP cables. BTW keep in mind that these monitors dont have DP 2.0 connection.

Ive been looking for a good gaming monitor for a long time. I wanted something with 144 HZ, Nvidia GSync, HDR, and a 27 Display. This was the best one I could that met my budget, and I was not disappointed. The monitor has beautiful colors, extremely low input delay, and has been extremely reliable for me for many months now. I highly recommend this monitor to anyone looking for a good gaming monitor for a price that cant be beat.

I got this monitor last year in December, and my initial impression. Was Wow. Coming from two Dell 1920 x 1080 60Hrz displays, this one is great from LG for the price of a 1440p 144hrz panel with NVIDIA G-Sync technology and HDR. But, it is not as bright as most panels since its 500 nits. I tried it with my PS5, but sadly it doesnt support 1440p resolution (yet.) So, for now, I use it for my PC setup at the moment. But, after seven months of use, a blue line became apparent (as seen in the picture) until Power On Time: 2848 hours as of writing this review. It wasnt as noticeable at first 3 three months ago, but now its getting to the point where I see it with all most anything with color, even in white. I dont know how to fix this, but until I do, its there. Overall, Im mostly pretty happy with this display.

If you are on the fence, buy this monitor, it is amazing. Pros: IPS Panel -IPS panel gives greater viewing angles and better color accuracy than TN or VA. The main downside to IPS is that the GTG response time tends to be a bit slower and the blacks are not as black. However these are both easily trade offs for me. 1440P Resolution -Honestly 1440P is the perfect resolution for gaming. It is miles better looking than 1080P and doesnt require the huge computer power to drive 4K. I am running a RTX 2080Ti FE and I get probably 60FPS+ on max settings for most AAA titles, but I still prefer my 1440P monitor for the next reason... 144Hz Refresh Rate -Few 4K monitors will boast 144Hz refresh rate and the ones that do cost a fortune. On top of that, you will need a beastly multi-gpu setup to get 144+FPS out of your AAA titles at max settings anyways. -144Hz is so smooth and is a much better experience than 60Hz. I also have a better feel in FPS type games. 27 (which is also as big as I would recommend for desktop gaming) -Any bigger than 27 and you are entering TV type of territory IMO. For gaming, I want to be able to see my whole screen with minimal movement of my head. When sitting at my desk, with a distance of roughly 2feet between my face to the monitor, it is the perfect size. Cons: The only con I have with this monitor, and this is pretty nit picky, is the lack of auto input detection. I use my desk for both work and play so I have this monitor plugged into my gaming desktop all the time, but sometimes I have a separate cable plugging it into my work laptop. When I switch from using my desktop to laptop and vice versa, I need to manually change the input. There is no separate button to do this and the monitor does not auto detect and ask if you want to change input sources, so you need to go through the menu to change the input source. Very minor complaint. Neutral: This monitor is G-Sync Compatible but not true G-Sync hardware. The G-Sync hardware is extremely expensive and this monitor is an excellent price. Honestly, should be a Pro that this monitor is even G-Sync compatible for the price.

Given the usual stellar reviews this has had, I thought Id add a note about my experience. I purchased this monitor ALMOST a year ago. That almost is important. I was completely and totally satisfied with it. The colors were sharp, the response times were phenomenal, and I couldnt have been more satisfied with it. Unfortunately, today, it died. Not a blank screen of death, but a prismatic screen of death.. I know it was the monitor because my SECOND monitor was still working great, and the menu of this monitor wouldnt even show. It was a white, segmented line in the middle of the screen. The colors were pretty, but functionally, it was completely borked. That said, it WAS still under warranty. I communicated with LG support, who asked for the invoice and serial number, then arranged to have a box shipped and a prepaid shipping label e-mailed to me, leaving me only with the task of packing the monitor up and dropping it off at the carrier theyve selected to be repaired/replaced. The turn-around time, according to the rep, was 2-3 weeks. So IF you have a warranty on it, you get NO HASSLES in getting it fixed for free. And because of my experience, I am considering investing in some extended warranties if theyre still offered. The interesting thing is that I have a 12 year old ASUS LCD monitor that still works (last time I tried it) that Ill use as my second screen until this monitor is fixed and returned. I can limp along with a second monitor literally half of the resolution of this one until this one is fixed. So, one star off for dying within a year, but no MORE than that because LG gave me NO hassles in getting it sent to them and fixed/replaced (whichever the outcome happens to be). Ive yet to check into extended warranties, but Id HOPE that the fix has at least another year on it. Ill update this review if I cant get extended warranties OR if the warranty on the fix isnt good for another year. [Edit to add: I take back all the nice things I said about LG, and deduct another star for what happened after I posted this review. I received my monitor back a couple of weeks after I sent it in, and the monitor arrive in a new box, but the power supply had been placed on the wrong side of the box. The result was one of the power supplys prongs was jammed into the power supply itself during shipping, likely destroying the board to which it was mounted and making it useless. I contacted LG, of course, and talked with customer service, I sent them the same picture I posted here, and they said theyd replace it. They did not. Its been almost two months. I knew it would take some time so I bought a compatible PSU from Amazon in the meantime, but I was without my monitor for considerably longer than planned, pushing my productivity levels into the toilet. The monitor did work (though Ive had one unexplained, momentary black screen on it and not my second screen that hasnt yet happened again) after I got a PSU for it, but I shouldnt have had to wait in the first place. The PSU shipped with the monitor was new (I had marked it to see if they replaced it) and the monitor itself had been repaired (the mark I put on the monitor is still there). But the monitor without the special PSU is pretty pointless, and put me far more behind than planned. So what should have been a fully warranted repair ended up costing me the price of a new PSU because someone at LGs repair vendor doesnt know how to pack a PSU properly. As for extending the warranty, Im going to go with another brand next time.]

I have been playing games for a long time now and was ready to invest in a better monitor since I need it for school but this on checked all my boxes on what I wanted. I liked that for the price I got it at which was cheaper than MSRP even though I would buy it at MSRP any day of the week, It was treated as a higher tier product when it comes to online reviews. The box that it came in was very well built and had so much foam protecting the screen it was hard to take out. I got the 144hz IPS 27inch model and like I said above I love this screen. There hasnt been any major problems with it which when I look at the other monitors I see online Im happy. The only thing that I didnt like was that the power cable wasnt a standard power cable that most monitors use. It wasnt that I didnt mind but with my power set up the plug took up 2 slots so it made it hard to power everything else in my setup. I have seen also on many review channels that there are monitors that are cheaper and better and I dont see it. If I had to recommend a monitor it would be this one. Have the 2k resolution was nice since I got a new GPU and was able to use the power of it to play games in stunning detail compared to my old 60hz 1080p monitor.
