This black gesso has full coverage! I bought a paint retarder and Im going to try it in colors to paint over dry black gesso on canvas. Id like to have that underneath color to see if it makes painting clouds or water or even snow, easier. Hoping it creates the shadows all in one stroke because of the color over the black gesso.

Its like all other Liquitex products I use--it works well.

This is the best clear gesso there is. Better price here than department store.

I dislike nothing

This was highly recommended in a news letter from Arizona gourds. I will use it with prisma colored pencils. Have not use yet, but well known artist in gourds use it all the time.
