Liquitex Professional Gesso Surface Prep Medium, 237ml (8-oz), Black

Its far too expensive but absolutely necessary for paint pouring. So use it frugally. It really does help with a base for the paint on the canvas. Ya gotta have it. Liquitex is the best!

A little thinner than expected, but works adequately!

Ive tried gesso and never liked them until I met this one. I use a credit card or some other old card to spread it on my pages for my journal and it works wonderful! I found the card makes it a little smoother for my needs.

Great gesso for putting over preprimed canvas. Paint will go thru the two coats and adhere again to primed which I tested about in general for anyone. I use for touch ups I trust this brand and formula

I needed some more Gesso to cover glass bottles and this works very well. Its thick and sponges on easily, leaving no sponge marks when it dries, the surface looks smooth as if were sprayed on.
