Works great with posca markers. I put on two things layers, but I think one would be sufficient too. Nice grit and doesnt wear down the nibs like painting directly on the canvas would. Got the clear, definitely want to get white down the line.

Good value in this size at this price. This covers very well with two coats on raw linen. If I want more texture I can add Gesso to meet the surface I am trying to make. Drys pretty fast too.

have not used this yet but Im sure its the same quality as my other liquitex products--a brand I rely on.

Thinner than other products I use and some what more chalky when dry. Good color strenth.

Covers well. Great for priming wood as well as canvas for paintings.

It does not dry to clear. I had used it on black linen cloth and this product ruined the project. I gave two stars as it is gesso but not what it says on the label: clear. Please see attached picture.

extremely good gesso, does what its supposed to. Liquitex does it again!
