Liquitex Professional Gesso Surface Prep Medium, 237ml (8-oz), Black

I don’t buy much from Liquitex but always make an exception for their gesso. There’s just no better made. I’ve tried them all. This is the best.

It does a beautiful job of priming canvases.

Not sure how to use it to make smooth surface.

This has a nice consistency to use right out of the bottle. Doesnt cover as well as Id like, when Im painting over something in order to change a painting - I need to apply multiple coats to cover something completely.

I haven’t used it yet but it was delivered spilled, and leaking.
