The product is good. I have sed Liquitex products for generations. Gesso is a matter of how you have been trained to use. You do NOT simply pour and paint.

I have just purchased my first set of acrylics and am eager to try them out. I need gesso to prepare my small stash of laminate squares. This was a good size to start.

Very rough finish, making it good for pastel ground as well as water media. Clear as long is you dont use too many layers - in which case it gets a bit cloudy.

Perfect for sealing my canvases before painting. I love the larger quantity, too.

Makes acrylic painting much smoother and easily. Saves paint.
