Greater than one weekI like this gesso because anytime I want to paint with acrylics in my sketchbook or on wood it will make the acrylics adhere better.

Greater than one weekIf you have never tried Gray gesso and have to add it to your list. It is so awesome. It has a bit of a sheen to it. It truly adds a different dimension to your mixed media. Give it a try.

> 3 dayI use the clear gesso because it has tooth and a grittiness to it. I spray a tad of water with a bunch of this and I get the best surface to paint on. I cant live without this. Go for it. Doesnt disappoint!! Will buy over and over and over.

> 3 dayI am not an artist, just a crafty librarian, so this was the first time Ive ever used gesso. I wasnt quite sure how to go about it, but I found that using an old gift card to spread it around gave me much better results. I used the gesso to prep sheets of chip board that I bound into a blank book for a kids book club. It made the chipboard much easier to color and paint on, and because it was white the colors were more vibrant. Never thought Id find myself using gesso, and I have nothing else to compare it to, but this stuff worked great.
