Logitech G300s Optical Ambidextrous Gaming Mouse – 9 Programmable Buttons, Onboard Memory

The mouse works well but I have two disappointments. 1. The mouse was a little small for my big hands 2. I thought I would be able to assign a multiple key macro to the buttons on the mouse

The mouse is relatively comfortable even in my giant hands, and as a leftie, and certainly does its job well. If I was to utilize the extra buttons on it, Id like it FAR more than the usual gaming mouses buttons, as theyre placed differently, and their location is FAR superior in that it is far less likely for me to accidentally bump them while using it. Ive had a more classically laid out gaming mouse, and could not stand where the buttons were placed because I would constantly bump them. All in all, its a good mouse, especially so if youre looking for a cheaper priced gaming mouse. Id certainly say to give it a go if youre on the hunt for a new moose. Er... louse? House... no no thats not right... AH WELL, you get the point haha

When it comes to freeing up your left hand, being able to program aim required gadgets or abilities to the mouse is key. This mouse is comfortable, offering multiple easy access top buttons while being extremely lightweight and ambidextrous. This is my favorite mouse I just wish Logitech would create a quality platform with better presentation and update some of the software. I still love this mouse though. Im on my second G300s, been using them since 2018.

Great for office work!!! Copy/Paste/screenshot etc. Especially saves your hands instead of using the keyboard shortcuts constantly throughout the day. A smaller mouse if used for gaming but has appropriate software and internal memory for portability between machines.

* Most companies block softwares but the memory is internal hardware so I programmed the buttons at home and it still works at work. Big plus!* A bit smaller than previous mouse. The material does not feel cheap. Scroll wheel works great and is very smooth. The resolution is adjustable and I have it 1500 dpi and the cursor moves a lot more accurately. Buttons are programmable, but you need to find the right Logitech software which was not easy. No instruction came with the mouse and many links on their web site dont work anymore. I spent more than 30 min. Great mouse but lousy software/support.

I dont care if it becomes obsolete, when i get money i am buying 30 of these and stock pilling them. This is the only mouse i can play CS:GO with. I have tried over 10 other ones and I CANNOT PLAY WITH THEM. its the way it fits in my hand. the way it tracks, everything about this mouse to me is perfection. ONLY DOWNSIDE, i see myself buying a new one every year or more often like every 8 months or so. It does not last however they got me hooked so i dont even care anymore lmao

My G600 (which I used for the left hand although it is not ambidextrous) died (right button became flaky after three years of daily use; and thats typical for G600 -- it just does not last that long) and I bought this one saving ,say, $15. But there is no free lunch and one important defect of this mouse is that the wheel does not have clicks for left and right tilt ) like say all expensive mice from Logitech, and thus you cant assign macros to tilts. For those who do not use them its OO, but for m this is a big shortcoming. I deducted one star for this. Please be aware that this mouse looks cheap in comparison wit, say $36 Logitech mice like G602 , but it does work and is more conviniet to use with the left hand. But you simply cant compare look and feel quality to G600 of G602 to this student model. You can still use 6 macros with it and Logitech Gaming Software which allows you to program macros in Lua, which are individualized for each application you use (not just games, but any application) As such this mouse is not only for gamers. It is perfectly suitable, for example, for Unix sysadmins as it allows execute complex macros in Windows Terminal emulator such as Teraterm. Also helps for people with RSI who need to change hands in order give affected with RSI hand time to recover. I wish the industry would produce more models of ambidextrous mouse, as RSI is a real epidemic among heavy computer users and professionals, but we have what we have.

This is my 2nd one bought, the first one lasted about 2-1/2 years and then buttons wore out. The wheel on this new one turns a bit rough but Im hoping to get used to it rather than return it. I hate to support Logitech because I find their immodest advertising offensive but its a reasonably priced lefty mouse with buttons on top you can hit with the index finger.

I bought this to replace my Logitech G600

Im a left handed gamer and as all us lefties know, there are no gaming mice made for us. The best available are ambidextrous mice. Which drives me nuts since there is no reason for an ambidextrous mouse. An ambidextrous person could use either a right or left handed mouse. An ambidextrous mouse is just a poor compromise between the two, so why not just make a real left handed mouse? I tied many and while this mouse leaves much to be desired, its probably the best that can be hoped for. At least all the buttons are accessible, if not entirely comfortable. It lacks any thumb buttons, which means all nine buttons are most easily pressed with the index and middle fingers. Some are really quite well placed and comfortable, other not so much. However, it is much faster and easier than using key binds on the keyboard, and that is whats important. Otherwise the mouse is really nice. The software installs easily and is intuitive. The LED color on the side can be changed. Its light, moves smoothy. All buttons feel solid and have a positive response. It works great for gaming as well as les intense internet surfing and word processing. In short, if we cant get everything a righty gets, at least we can get this, and at a great price.
