I had a left-handed Razer Deathadder mouse for years until the buttons finally started failing. I dont play FPS games as much as I use to, so I didnt need a high performance model, just a good left-handed or ambidextrous mouse. For the price this model looked a good choice... and its not a bad mouse... there are a few things though. The good: its ambidextrous and does feel comfortable on both hands. The extra buttons (6) are on the top, not the sides, which makes access much easier to me (Razer had side buttons and I only ever could comfortably use 1 set). It has accurate and smooth gliding, and allows for fine tuning the responsiveness. The bad: it is a little smaller than mice I am use to, which took some adjustment. Due to its ergo design you do have to grip it to use it fully and cant just palm it. And while I would not label it flimsy it does feel less sturdy than the Razer and Microsoft mice I have used regularly before. I personal comment, for me it makes my palm sweat, which is kinda odd. Overall, for the price I think its a decent mouse and would recommend... I have no real complaints that arent personal preference in nature, especially considering how far and few true left-handed or ambidextrous mice are. If the longevity turns out to be less than stellar, I might revise this... but for now its good.

I purchased the Logitech G300s optical gaming mouse about a month ago. I bought it because my previous non-gaming mouse had succumbed to the beating of using it for gaming every day for half a year. In the short time I’ve had the mouse I can’t speak entirely for its durability, but from what I’ve done with it so far it seems to be fairly well made. It has an interesting feature that was different than what I was used to-the secondary buttons are on the top instead of the side. At first it took some getting used to, but it’s much easier to use when the buttons are right at your fingertips already and you don’t have to move your fingers to use them. The mouse has a lot of different programs and settings to cater it to exactly what you want for it. It has three internally stored custom settings you can use for each different game. The lights on the side of the mouse will light up a specific color for each setting you use. For example, if I prefer to use a faster mouse speed for one game and a slower speed for another, I can have stored programs that you select that will alter the settings depending on what game you’re in. I find this feature great since I play multiple games. The mouse is very responsive, and the settings on the speed go very far in both directions. You can have the DPI set very high or very low. I have noticed though that sometimes the DPI will randomly change The shape of the mouse is great for someone who uses a claw style grip on the mouse(using fingertips instead of lying fingers down flat on the mouse) because it is so small. If you were someone who uses a palm style grip I would not recommend this mouse. It does draw a lot of power, so using it on a laptop while not plugged in will drain your battery fairly fast. Other than these few problems, I still give it four stars.

I originally ordered one of these years ago to have on hand for my PS4/whatever, as it was cheap enough to not worry if it broke. However it quickly replaced my main mice solely for the phenomenal placement of the macro buttons. Software can be clunky but is otherwise set and forget. Lightweight, ergonomic, affordable, it just works!

I first purchased this mouse in April of 2017 and I loved it. At the time it was the best mouse that Ive ever owned. The software was easy to download and install which allowed me to customize the lighting, adjust the DPI settings, and bind keys to the buttons. Once I had my settings in place I stored them onboard the mouse and never used the software again. Three and a half years later I have a new computer and my mouse if finally starting to wear out. (The mouse itself is a wonderful product) Naturally I ordered another one. When it arrived and I went to the Logitech website to download the new software-which would allow me to adjust the DPI, change the color scheme, and rebind the keys- the G hub software would not detect the Logitech product. I made sure that the drivers were up to date through windows and through the software folder (which at one point actually contained drivers according to older videos of how to fix this problem on Youtube) The drivers were not the problem. Ive gone through numerous trouble shooting tips and under no circumstances will the G hub software detect the mouse, nor is there any way to get drivers through the Logitech site. The software was updated to the latest version and still nothing works. Its sad. I love this mouse, its the only one Ive ever used that was comfortable for my small hands and had just enough keys for me to do the things that I need to do in games, and its no longer a viable option for me because the software that supports it is so bloated and useless. EDIT: I finally got the right software to work. The Logitech Gaming Software is the only software in the software maze on the Logitech site that will actually work with this mouse. Not only that, but the current version-which states that it is compatible with Windows 10-will give you a message saying otherwise when you try to install it. So not only do you have to navigate the Logitech maze of software packages *(Many of them claiming to work with their mouse products, while in fact not working) you will also have to use an older version of the Logitech gaming software to actually be able to customize your mouse functions.

I had the original Logitech G300 years ago for gaming. OA couple of years later one of the mouse buttons quit working after I slammed it down in frustration during an Urban Terror match. I purchased the same mouse again to replace it. Years later, the little pads on the bottom of the mouse had worn out and I decided to try a new mouse but didnt like it as much. Tried a couple more with the same outcome and decided to go back to my old favorite again and wondered if I would even be able to find it still. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Logitech had released an updated version of my old favorite in the G300S and hadnt changed the buttons at all. The ambidextrous design makes locating the desired buttons easy to remember and execute in the fraction of a second. It may be a little outdated in todays gaming mouse market, but its still my weapon of choice.

The mouse is relatively comfortable even in my giant hands, and as a leftie, and certainly does its job well. If I was to utilize the extra buttons on it, Id like it FAR more than the usual gaming mouses buttons, as theyre placed differently, and their location is FAR superior in that it is far less likely for me to accidentally bump them while using it. Ive had a more classically laid out gaming mouse, and could not stand where the buttons were placed because I would constantly bump them. All in all, its a good mouse, especially so if youre looking for a cheaper priced gaming mouse. Id certainly say to give it a go if youre on the hunt for a new moose. Er... louse? House... no no thats not right... AH WELL, you get the point haha

I’ve been using this mouse for over a year now. My mouse gets a lot of use daily! I have small hands and almost every other mouse I’ve ever had in the past 20+ years (from the cheapest ones to Razor ones) has left my hands aching. And often some buttons have just been too difficult to use. This mouse doesn’t have as many programmable buttons as many of my past ones, but it has at least as many as I’ve ever been able to reliably use. I haven’t missed the extra buttons at all. The smaller size means my clicks actually go through, and my hand doesn’t ache all the time! I spent a bunch of time researching smaller mice (and reading so many reviews) before I chose this one to try. I do not regret my choice. After a year or so of hard use, I started to notice some slight issues with the clicking. I’ve had enough experience now to not wait until it becomes a bigger problem, so I ordered a replacement. My last 2 Razors each lasted longer, but in the end, the clickers in them still went. They were more expensive to replace so I continued to use them way too long that way. I could have kept using my old one, it was still fine most of the time, only giving me issues with pretty specific uses. And my partner was able to get multiple switches for less then half the cost of replacing it, so I could have just used it with a new clicker If I’d wanted to. But now we have a backup mouse the next time someone’s mouse dies. Or I have a few replacements I know I like, if they stop making this model (which happened with the one mouse I previously really liked).

This is perfect for me, the right size and placement of the buttons, ALL the buttons are programmable including the dpi buttons . both the left side and right side buttons work, not like some ambidextrous mice that only one side or the other works. The most important thing is it works on linux and I use input re-mapper with no problems,so I didnt have to set this up on another pc. I dont know how long it will last so Im buying a back-up, especially at this price.( nothing lasts anymore, so I dont expect this to last more than a year, but Ill hope for better) Oh I use this for 3d graphics in blender. works great in blender.

So as a lefty most ergonomic mice fall into the extra buttons are in exactly the wrong place so my thumb hits them accidentally while using or has no extra buttons. Ive had this for a month or so now and while gaming is far from my greatest concern its fine for the games I do play, has extra buttons that are placed where they arent annoying and I can turn the LED off. I havent dived that deep into programming the buttons yet but some videos have shown this to be a fairly simple process once I do get around to it. Long story short for the $20 I paid for it well worth the coin and Im thinking about grabbing maybe one or a few more.
