> 3 dayHave been using a very small travel mouse for a long time. Wanted a mouse with buttons that could be programed. But most of them are for right handed people, and yes Ive heard it all and no I cant use a right handed mouse. Have tried and no, go my right hand just will not use a mouse after trying for a very long time my right hand just will not learn period. So bought a left handed mouse was so excited to get it but when I took it out of the box it was way to big for my hand, tried to use it but did not have enough control was just to big. So decided to get this one and glad that I did. This mouse fits my hand perfectly not to small as the Logitech travel mouse and not as large as the left handed Razer Naga that I bought. Love that it has buttons to program, yes am a gamer. Now have buttons to use along with the number pad on the key board its great. Just wish it had more buttons but we left handed people with small hands have to deal with what is out there. Recommend this product.

> 3 dayFor such a low price and such great performance, this is by far my favorite mouse Ive ever owned. It doesnt have that industrial heavy duty feel of a $70 high end mouse, but for $30 youre going to get a lot out of it. My favorite thing about it is the four additional buttons and their placement. It takes a bit to get used to them, and not every game will benefit from having 4 additional mouse buttons. However most games, especially games which require quick access to a lot of commands (Dota, PUBG, Battlefield) really highlight why the typical 2 extra buttons on other gaming mice arent enough. Typically in an FPS Ill bind the top left button to crouch, and the bottom left to prone. The benefit of this is I dont have to take my left hand fingers off any of the movement keys while I do those actions. On top of that I can bind throwing a grenade to the top right button instead of the typical G key so I can move and aim while throwing a grenade (very useful in a game like Black Ops 3). In Dota and any other RTS/MOBA the benefits are pretty obvious with how many commands are available to you. Growing up using a controller trained my right hand to be the most dextrous, so having a mouse that takes advantage of that instead of using my left hand for nearly everything is very nice. Hardware like this highlights why the custom experience PC gaming provides is the best.

> 3 dayI’ve notice playing World of Warcraft that there’s only 2/6 buttons that are mappable. Still great for the price on sale at $14.99.

> 3 dayMy G600 (which I used for the left hand although it is not ambidextrous) died (right button became flaky after three years of daily use; and thats typical for G600 -- it just does not last that long) and I bought this one saving ,say, $15. But there is no free lunch and one important defect of this mouse is that the wheel does not have clicks for left and right tilt ) like say all expensive mice from Logitech, and thus you cant assign macros to tilts. For those who do not use them its OO, but for m this is a big shortcoming. I deducted one star for this. Please be aware that this mouse looks cheap in comparison wit, say $36 Logitech mice like G602 , but it does work and is more conviniet to use with the left hand. But you simply cant compare look and feel quality to G600 of G602 to this student model. You can still use 6 macros with it and Logitech Gaming Software which allows you to program macros in Lua, which are individualized for each application you use (not just games, but any application) As such this mouse is not only for gamers. It is perfectly suitable, for example, for Unix sysadmins as it allows execute complex macros in Windows Terminal emulator such as Teraterm. Also helps for people with RSI who need to change hands in order give affected with RSI hand time to recover. I wish the industry would produce more models of ambidextrous mouse, as RSI is a real epidemic among heavy computer users and professionals, but we have what we have.

> 3 dayIve been playing MMOs for a while, but have never had a mouse I really liked that had programmable buttons. I got my boyfriend a razer naga, and while he loved it, its too huge for my small, womanly hands. I spent forever researching different mice with programmable buttons for small hands, and it was almost impossible to find any good info on them. (And some of them only had 2 or 3 extra buttons). I finally found a forum post from a woman who had tried what seemed like every mouse on the market, and a tech review that said everything about this mouse was great except it was small - and BAM, that was the selling factor for me! -Works great -Size works for small hands but is fine for large ones as well (its not tiny like a lot of wireless or laptop mouses can be, just small enough to fit comfortably. My large handed boyfriend has no problem using this mouse) -Ambidextrous -Software works great and lets you set up profiles for different games or accounts -You can change the color of the lights (I thought I didnt care about this function and thought it was stupid til I got the mouse, changed the color and went Hee hee ... burple. - Good price! A lot of mice are ridiculously expensive (im not into paying 80-150 for a mouse on sale, hoo boy), and if you get it on sale /watch the price you can even score a deal.

> 3 dayIve been using an HP 1500 wired mouse for over 10 years. Was about to order the same model (they sell it here on Amazon) when I saw this mouse. Since it has the same basic shape and is wired (hate messing with batteries at the most inoppourtune time in a game) I ordered it after a little research. I like everything about the mouse except the software you need to download to change button features. Some reviews and the Logitech site said GHub works. It didnt on my 64 bit Windows 7. Digging further, I found that the the older software version, Logitech Gaming Software, worked. I was able to change the features I wanted. The problem is that installing this software and its drivers killed my Logitech joystick. Since I created a restore point prior to installing the software, I just used Windows System Restore to unistall the software and drivers. Thankfully, I had selected to save the changed features onto the mouses internal memory so all the changes I made were still there. So if I want to change features in the future, Ill have to create a restore point, install LGS, make my changes, save to mouse memory, then uninstall LGA via system restore.
