Greater than one weekSo Im a tall woman and I thought the petite size might be better than the M720 which I bought simultaneously to test. Although its thinner, its actually LESS ergonomically comfortable than the M720 which is chunkier. This one is smaller than your hand which requires some hand tension. I expected to like this better because its wired and thus less prone to nonsense, but I didnt. The main killer is that the Logitech software for this mouse doesnt allow you to assign any of the billion buttons to double click! Thats idiotic. Conversely, the Logitech software for teh M720 allows you to assign an advanced click option of double click to the middle mouse wheel which is awesome. Skip this one and try the other if you can handle having a bluetooth/USB mouse (it does both.) If you cant live without a wired mouse and dont mind no double click, this might be fine for you.

> 3 dayMouse programming does not work with GHUB, but you can get the app you do need (Logitech Gaming Software... its like GHUBs grandparent) on the Logitech website still, and if you set it up in the onboard memory, then you can literally set it and forget it. Great for small hands or southpaws, but make sure you have a wrist rest; this thing is a low rider of sorts.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for me, the right size and placement of the buttons, ALL the buttons are programmable including the dpi buttons . both the left side and right side buttons work, not like some ambidextrous mice that only one side or the other works. The most important thing is it works on linux and I use input re-mapper with no problems,so I didnt have to set this up on another pc. I dont know how long it will last so Im buying a back-up, especially at this price.( nothing lasts anymore, so I dont expect this to last more than a year, but Ill hope for better) Oh I use this for 3d graphics in blender. works great in blender.

Greater than one weekFor such a low price and such great performance, this is by far my favorite mouse Ive ever owned. It doesnt have that industrial heavy duty feel of a $70 high end mouse, but for $30 youre going to get a lot out of it. My favorite thing about it is the four additional buttons and their placement. It takes a bit to get used to them, and not every game will benefit from having 4 additional mouse buttons. However most games, especially games which require quick access to a lot of commands (Dota, PUBG, Battlefield) really highlight why the typical 2 extra buttons on other gaming mice arent enough. Typically in an FPS Ill bind the top left button to crouch, and the bottom left to prone. The benefit of this is I dont have to take my left hand fingers off any of the movement keys while I do those actions. On top of that I can bind throwing a grenade to the top right button instead of the typical G key so I can move and aim while throwing a grenade (very useful in a game like Black Ops 3). In Dota and any other RTS/MOBA the benefits are pretty obvious with how many commands are available to you. Growing up using a controller trained my right hand to be the most dextrous, so having a mouse that takes advantage of that instead of using my left hand for nearly everything is very nice. Hardware like this highlights why the custom experience PC gaming provides is the best.

> 3 dayIve been playing MMOs for a while, but have never had a mouse I really liked that had programmable buttons. I got my boyfriend a razer naga, and while he loved it, its too huge for my small, womanly hands. I spent forever researching different mice with programmable buttons for small hands, and it was almost impossible to find any good info on them. (And some of them only had 2 or 3 extra buttons). I finally found a forum post from a woman who had tried what seemed like every mouse on the market, and a tech review that said everything about this mouse was great except it was small - and BAM, that was the selling factor for me! -Works great -Size works for small hands but is fine for large ones as well (its not tiny like a lot of wireless or laptop mouses can be, just small enough to fit comfortably. My large handed boyfriend has no problem using this mouse) -Ambidextrous -Software works great and lets you set up profiles for different games or accounts -You can change the color of the lights (I thought I didnt care about this function and thought it was stupid til I got the mouse, changed the color and went Hee hee ... burple. - Good price! A lot of mice are ridiculously expensive (im not into paying 80-150 for a mouse on sale, hoo boy), and if you get it on sale /watch the price you can even score a deal.

> 3 dayExcellent mouse, especially for the price. That it has a pinched body makes all of the buttons easy to use. I previously owned (well still own) a much more expensive logitech gaming mouse (g700s) and the layout of the mouse and placement of the buttons made almost all of them unusable. With the pinched design, you can freely move your index and middle fingers around to any of the top buttons very easily and intuitively. works extremely well with the g13 lefthand gamepad. The automatic game detecting settings work for both devices at the same time, and both devices share the set of per-game functions, so you can assign them to gamepad or mouse buttons very easily, and move them around at will. None of the buttons are dedicated to specific functions like switching profiles or DPI (or even mouse clicks/scrolling) so you can get really creative with how you configure this thing. The actuation force of all of the buttons (and the scroll wheel) are extremely low but also satisfyingly tactile, so you get an appropriate amount of feedback without requiring stressful contortions to get enough leverage to engage the buttons. I wear a large sized glove (which is average/small for men) and the distance and spacing between buttons is perfect for my hand geometry. In my opinions, this sort of button configuration is optimal for both gaming and productivity. When you want it to be a regular mouse, all of the extra functionality is out of the way, when you want to take advantage of the extra buttons, they are within reach and actuating them accurately is not difficult. Best mouse I have ever owned, and one of the cheapest too!

> 3 dayGoing along with the many positive reviews about the G300ss advantages, Ill agree it is a good buy for a bit over $20. It functions as it should and seems to be built well. Id forgotten I had this mouse until recently when I discovered it in a junk box of computer stuff. What--looks unused and its a Logitech . . . ? So I hooked it up and pretty soon I remembered why I tossed it in storage. The left and right sides of the G300s mirror each other, so there are twin buttons on either top front corner; this means that my middle finger rests not only on the right click button but also against one of those top corner buttons. Unintended clicks occurred immediately. So I had to download and install Logitechs less-than-stellar software in order to turn off the problematic buttons. The thing is, although Im a righty, I cant imagine a lefty with similarly sized hands would be able to avoid the opposite version of this problem. Like many mouse manufacturers, Logitech is prone to sticking extra buttons anywhere as a misguided marketing ploy. In conclusion: ambidextrous, great; button layout, atrocious.

> 3 dayIt was a great budget gaming mouse until I made the mistake of updating the macro software from 9*02*65 (201810 8) to 9*04*49 (2022 525). Now its only good for simple office apps. At least on my computer, macros dont properly generate mouse clicks (only keystrokes) and generating a mouse wheel roll will crash the software. Tech support isnt very helpful, and I have little hope theyll expend the resources to fix the software in a timely manner. The mouse can work on its own for basic customization, but complicated macros require the Logitech Gaming Software which is being replaced by G Hub. Unfortunately G Hub doesnt support the G300s. I wouldnt buy this mouse today for gaming.

> 3 dayFinger area is a bit crowded for me as I like to put 2 fingers on my r button. The main l + r buttons are a bit stiff. Otherwise seems solid.
