Worked fine until exactly the 2-year mark. Daily but not overheavy or abusive use. The trigger button under the left-click then started malfunctioning: double-clicking for a single-click; requiring a forceful push to make any click at all. I opened it up to inspect: no dust or grime. Gave up and spent $20 on eBay for an ancient (turn-of-the-century) Logitech MX510, now my third, which I know to be built with quality components!

Have been using a very small travel mouse for a long time. Wanted a mouse with buttons that could be programed. But most of them are for right handed people, and yes Ive heard it all and no I cant use a right handed mouse. Have tried and no, go my right hand just will not use a mouse after trying for a very long time my right hand just will not learn period. So bought a left handed mouse was so excited to get it but when I took it out of the box it was way to big for my hand, tried to use it but did not have enough control was just to big. So decided to get this one and glad that I did. This mouse fits my hand perfectly not to small as the Logitech travel mouse and not as large as the left handed Razer Naga that I bought. Love that it has buttons to program, yes am a gamer. Now have buttons to use along with the number pad on the key board its great. Just wish it had more buttons but we left handed people with small hands have to deal with what is out there. Recommend this product.

The main selling point of this mouse is that it has programmable buttons and onboard memory. Onboard memory basically allows you to save your mouse settings, and then move it to another computer, and have those programmed buttons still work. Without onboard memory, the programmable buttons only work on the computer that you have installed software. So - this becomes important if you move the mouse between different computers, or to work where you dont have administration privileges to install software. At this price point - few mice have on board memory. So - Logitech has two different software out there that you can use to program your peripherals. There is the older Logitech Gaming Software (LGS) and the newer Logitech G Hub. This mouse only works with the older LGS - it will not work with G Hub. Right now there arent a lot of things that G Hub offers that you cant get on LGS, but who knows that the future holds. Back to those programmable buttons - you can save to on board memory any single keystroke or combination of keystrokes (ie. ctrl-something or ctl-alt-something), but you cant save a whole series of keystrokes to memory. If you want to save more complicated commands - then you must have the LGS software installed. Its overall a pretty comfortable mouse. Its light - so if you prefer a heavier mouse this aint the mouse for you. The led lights are useful because they change when you cycle between the 3 different saved profiles - each profile can have buttons programmed differently as well as a different dpi.

I have come to the ironic conclusion that this mouse is not the best for gaming, but good for everything else. The mouse software is not the most reliable, and will sometimes switch profiles in the middle of games which is very frustrating. It happens rarely, but enough to be a recurring annoyance. I have one of these at my work office too. As a graphic designer, being able to map six additional buttons to Adobe tools has seriously improved my workflow. Its very comfortable to use all day, and well-built with sturdy hardware. It has only a bit of the gamer aesthetic, so I am not too embarrassed to have it at work. The mouse software doesnt crash and switch profiles while Im at work. As my work computer has more RAM, I suspect that on my home gaming setup, the Logitech software gets force closed during resource intense games.

This mouse is perfect for a teenager beginning to explore gaming. Its just very small and probably wont be ideal for adult hands.

Ive owned this mouse for over six months. My wireless mouse was no longer cutting it for playing Overwatch, so I figured it was time to buy a gaming mouse. This is my first gaming mouse so I cant tell you how well it compares to other mouses, but I can tell you that it was a great upgrade for the price. Its precise, and I havent had any performance issues with it at all. Its got a blue color underneath that looks like it belongs in a 1950s kitchen. Thats to say that it isnt very attractive, nor does it fit with the gaming theme. However, its barely visible when the mouse is being used. The rest of the design looks and feels great. Its got a light in it as well. You can choose from seven colors, or choose to leave the light off, based on the profile youre using. Its an easy way to check which profile youre using at the moment. I dont just use my computer for gaming; I do homework and various other tasks as well. So its nice that its easy to switch between the three different profiles Ive saved. One is programmed for gaming with the DPI maxed out, the next setting is set for casual use, and the third setting is just the wild card. All I have to do is hit a button on the mouse and it switches profiles. You can also set what the other buttons do based on the profile youre using. All in all, a great purchase. I cant believe I was gaming with the wireless mouse for so long.

this is such a breath of fresh air for me as a small hand PC user, I usually am pretty dang uncomfortable using most gaming mice but this one feels very comfortable in my tiny hand, the only downside is that if you have multiple Logitech devices you may run into problems because of the TWO INCOMPATIBLE applications for button mapping and other settings, this one uses Logitch Gaming Software whereas my headset and keyboard use Logitch G Hub, very commonly one will crash when I open the other and it drives me insane....

Ive been using an HP 1500 wired mouse for over 10 years. Was about to order the same model (they sell it here on Amazon) when I saw this mouse. Since it has the same basic shape and is wired (hate messing with batteries at the most inoppourtune time in a game) I ordered it after a little research. I like everything about the mouse except the software you need to download to change button features. Some reviews and the Logitech site said GHub works. It didnt on my 64 bit Windows 7. Digging further, I found that the the older software version, Logitech Gaming Software, worked. I was able to change the features I wanted. The problem is that installing this software and its drivers killed my Logitech joystick. Since I created a restore point prior to installing the software, I just used Windows System Restore to unistall the software and drivers. Thankfully, I had selected to save the changed features onto the mouses internal memory so all the changes I made were still there. So if I want to change features in the future, Ill have to create a restore point, install LGS, make my changes, save to mouse memory, then uninstall LGA via system restore.

Been using this one now for over 2 years. Bought a 2nd for spare. Programming it was easy. Now that I think about it Ill be getting a 3rd to take with me on the road for the macro capabilities that are stored in it to travel with.
