Very simple to set up. Each outlet has its own control. I dont really need the Alexa integration, but I mostly got it for the custom settings it has. I can turn outside lights any amount of time before sunset, and then off at a specific time. not like those one that make you choose between 2, 4, or 6 hours later. No more resetting timers for me! The Alexa integration is simple and works like a charm. If you are not using Apples Homekit, get this one. Its the same thing, but less expensive.

My Xmas laser lights have a 6 hour timer - I can use an Alexa routine to reset the plug & have the lights on all night - yay!

This is a GREAT device. It took me about an hour to hook up, but if I did another one, it would only take 15 minutes. It works from a distance...I live in PA and control (open/close) a garage door in VA, 450 miles away. I have LOTS of other Meross smart devices and I really like them. The only improvement I might offer is that the programming, while not hard at all, is a little clunky. That said, its a minor complaint. Meross makes a lot of smart devices at a very competitive price. I have TP-Link smart devices and them are very good too, but more expensive. I wish Meross would offer a video camera and door lock, then I could have an integrated smart system from one vendor.

Ok, the timer works, 1 independant outlets is nice. The app, not so nice. It isnt that intuitive and took me a few minutes figuring out how to get it on the wifi. One thing i havent found in the app is the ability to have a family account. Im going have to put the app on the hubbys phone and log in. Jinvoos app creates family shares, but they dont make an outdoor outlet. I like Jinvoo better, more features.

3rd meross device in my house. Works good and does its job well. Very easy to install. Integration with Google home is perfect - no issues with controlling the plug from Google home application or using Google assistant voice commands.

Very easy setup and integrated into Smartthings. Perfect for what I needed, to run my deck lights and water fountain. Independent control for the two outlets was a big plus! I would be conscious of the amperage of the devices you are plugging into the unit, but for most, it is adequate. Only gripe is the plugins will not accept bigger block type plugins; not a deal breaker, I just made some short extension cords to use. I will buy again!

Easy to set up and once I started using I ordered a second one for the backyard. Great for controlling outside holiday decorations.

I bought this to control a pond pump outside. In my experience the thing that distinguishes Meross wireless switches from others is the ease and peace-of-mind of connecting it to your wireless network. First you install the Meross app on your phone (in my case an iPhone). When the switch receives power for the first time, it creates its own temporary local WiFi network whose name will be something like Meross_SW_abc123. You connect your phones wifi to this network, and the Meross app connects to the switch over that network. Then you tell the app which home network you want the switch to connect to under normal operation, and the password for that network. And then youre done. For folks like me, who want to be careful to keep their smart devices on a separate Guest network because you dont 100% trust them and dont want them to be able to talk to your home intranet, this setup lets you do that. You never have to enter in your main home network credentials. This is in contrast to some other smart switches Ive seen that are very unclear about which network they need and why. The WiFi signal is good too. My switch is plugged in outside about 100 feet from the router. According the the Meross app the signal strength is at 20%. But I havent had any problems controlling it.
