I got this for outdoor Christmas lights. I used it for the season and thought that it was pretty good. The app to control the lights could be better, but it does work well with Alexa. You have to choose, though. Or at least I did. I programmed it with the app, but when I set it up to work with Alexa, it no longer worked with the app. It seems that I should be able to set it up so that I could use whatever is the most convenient for me at the time. This is the only smart plug that I have, so maybe they just havent gotten around to programming things better yet. Either way, it works; does the job that I wanted it to. I would buy this again.

This is my second meross product after their smart plugs. I plugged it in, pressed the + sign on the app, chose smart outdoor plug and Next and it was installed. it automatically integrated into my Alexa Meross devices. The whole process was painless. Each outlet can be individually addressed or both together. I moved it outside, plugged in my outdoor lighting and immediate connection to my network and the socet powered on and off perfectly. Now, will it last over time? Dont know, but for starters it is a 5 star device but 4 because it is not the least expensive out there.

Easy to install and set up with Alexa or Google. I link being able to set program for patio lights vs the main system that only had sunset for a certain time duration. The negative is having a strong enough WiFi signal. If you have to buy a WiFi extender, not sure it would be worth it. Have to wait for rain before I try out the water proofing.

Worked great for a month. Then it stopped working. Customer support is not supportive.

I put this in my hoop house, and use it to run a space heater set on a temperature-triggered schedule. The Meross to SmartThings integration took a few minutes to side up, but ever since then it’s worked flawlessly.

All of our Meross controllers have always worked flawlessly. This on is no exception. I cant wait to review our Meross remote garage door opener.

Meross WIFI outdoor plug . I like the idea of being able to have two outlets on one connector and can turn on or off individually as needed. It was easy to connect to our WIFI as long as you have 2.4GHZ speed only. It will not work on 5.0 and 2.4 alternating.

Im switching many of my remote devices to Meross. A landscaper put in an off-brand timer for my yard lights - hard to setup and failed after a year. My Meross one bought the same time is great! Bought another to replace the off brand one and have everything in one app. Way better!

I use these to control my outdoor landscape lighting. My previous manual control had to be adjusted several times a year for the changing day lengths. Now I program for dusk to dawn and the Meross timer automatically adjusts day length through the seasons. I use the second outlet for my Christmas lights during the Christmas season. The two outlets can be programmed independently.
