> 3 dayThe first unit I bought didn’t work reliably with homekit, so I sent it back for a replacement. The second unit got really hot and it’s housing melted. I probably had too much plugged into it, not sure as I didn’t add up the wattages of all the Christmas lights, but it has a tag stating not to go over 400w. It should have had a reset switch that trips to prevent drawing too much power and subsequently potential fires. This melted outside when it was in the single digits Fahrenheit.

> 3 dayMy wife always complains that my outdoor gazebo lights are too bright. But no more with this Meross Smart Dimmer Plug. I had no problem connecting it to my home wifi. Then I used it outdoors first in the front of my home about 10 feet from the wifi and more recently moved it to my gazebo out back about 25 feet from the house. I have no problem controlling the plug or using the dimmer function. I would buy this again, highly recommended!

Greater than one weekI put this in my hoop house, and use it to run a space heater set on a temperature-triggered schedule. The Meross to SmartThings integration took a few minutes to side up, but ever since then it’s worked flawlessly.

Greater than one weekI’ve had decent experience with Meross products in the past and decided to add this to the household so we could light up our terrace with some LED floods. This works like a charm! It performed admirably in a recent rain storm that lasted three days. Solid construction, easy setup. I’m a fan.

Greater than one weekHaving two plugs that can be programmed independently of each other is great. I have one plug running my landscape lights with a dusk to midnight timer and the second running a light on Old Glory on a dusk to dawn timer. The plug is small enough that it fits inside the lightkiwi low violated transformer box. So to keep it completely out of the weather I installed it inside with a few command strip pieces of Velcro, fits perfect, everything inside the box, very clean look. The wifi signal connectivity was fine even being inside the stainless steel box. However after a week it started to foul up, the app dropped the light and I had to reinstall it several times, not very hard but annoying. Then where there was once wifi signal it was no longer strong enough. My router is about 35-40 ft. through the one outside wall. I had the same problem with an ihome plug. That was a single plug that ran everything, I upgraded to this plug to run the two zones of outside lights. The solution, I bought a wifi extender and put it in a plug that is withing a foot of the outside plug, through the wall of course. No issues since. Bottom line is it needs a very striping wifi signal, seems like all of the outdoor plugs regardless of manufacture does. In the end a $40 wifi extender was just a part of the project to get things running. 4 stars as in a perfect world I would not need the wifi extender. But very happy with the plug, works great with good signal.

> 3 dayEasy to set up and once I started using I ordered a second one for the backyard. Great for controlling outside holiday decorations.

> 3 dayHaving the smart plug turn the Christmas lights on when it gets dark and off after everybody goes to bed is nice. No longer have to remember to turn the outside decorations on or off.

> 3 dayI really like Meross. This is probably the 5th or 6th product that I’ve purchased from this brand. Like every other purchase, this smart outdoor outlet is easily set up in a minute or two, and integrates seamlessly with my other Meross products via the app. (no problems with the app either, yay!) I used this for my Christmas lights and blow up Olaf yard deco so I don’t have to go in and out every evening and unplug before I go to bed. Giving 4 stars out of 5 because the rubber socket cover gets in the way when you have two cords plugged in at once so I had to rip it off.

> 3 daySetup was a breeze and it just works - both as a timer and as an Alexa powered device. I set it up on a spare bedroom lamp and named it Lamp, which seemed logical at the time, but now when I see how easy it was too set up and how well it works, I may purchase a couple of more for other lights around the house. So, consider what you name it when you set it up.
