> 3 dayI have the (5) Feit Electric String lights in my yard and I have them connected to an outlet via the Treatlife smart dimmer until now. However, the smart dimmer plug a low voltage issue where the lights randomly flash when they are turned off annoying the neighbors at night. Also, it was connected to HomeKit via homebridge. Then came this little piece of genius which solved all my issues and has a very wide dimming range as a bonus, if you are into HomeKit and looking for a plug in dimmer, this is it!

> 3 day1) you WILL need a separate app to set up and get it to work with smart things 2) it may lose connection once in a blue moon but you just need to reboot the Meross app and get it to recognize your smart things base station again. 3) Smart Things will almost always turn on both sides instead of individually. No idea why it struggles to control the ports independently. 4) It does appear to be waterproof after a few months of use. 5) it does achieve a solid wifi connection to my ASUS ROG AX router which is in the center of the house, not on the outside wall with this unit. Overall it does what I need it to do MOST of the time. Meross app is glitchy, as expected. SmartThings hub MOSTLY works with it as long as the Meross app stays on your phone. Next time I will just go Zwave.

> 3 dayFor those of you having difficulty getting this smart plug to work on your router or need a Mac Address to connect it to your router, check to see if Mac Filtering is enabled on your router. It may have a similar name other than Mac Filtering, but you will need to disable it. Once disable, go through the instructions on the Merross app on your smart phone or iPhone to install the smart plug. Once it is installed (shouldnt take long), you can go to the plug in the app and get the plug info from the app... the Mac Address will be there. Then you can add the Mac Address to your router filter, enable Mac Filtering on the router and then it will take a few minutes, but you should be good to go. Its a hassle, but it works. For those using Alexa, I havent figured that part out yet, but it still needs to be installed first using the instructions above before you can add it to your Alexa.

> 3 dayWorks perfectly to turn on my outdoor lights using Alexa. Two plugs to help divide the load for longer lights strings lengths.

Greater than one weekIm switching many of my remote devices to Meross. A landscaper put in an off-brand timer for my yard lights - hard to setup and failed after a year. My Meross one bought the same time is great! Bought another to replace the off brand one and have everything in one app. Way better!

Greater than one weekHomekit compatible smart plugs in general were expensive compared to non-Homekit years ago. This has changed, yes, still more expensive. But to not have to use multiple smart apps for each switch is a mental life-saver. Setup was easy scanning the QR code and adding it to the Home app. I did download the Meross app after and if you allow it to connect to your network it will find the plug to see if there are any firmware updates without having to setup the dimmer in the Meross app. So good, I bought a second one for future light additions.

> 3 dayI use these to control my outdoor landscape lighting. My previous manual control had to be adjusted several times a year for the changing day lengths. Now I program for dusk to dawn and the Meross timer automatically adjusts day length through the seasons. I use the second outlet for my Christmas lights during the Christmas season. The two outlets can be programmed independently.

> 3 dayEasy to install and set up with Alexa or Google. I link being able to set program for patio lights vs the main system that only had sunset for a certain time duration. The negative is having a strong enough WiFi signal. If you have to buy a WiFi extender, not sure it would be worth it. Have to wait for rain before I try out the water proofing.
