> 3 dayLiked the unit, however we need a unit similar to others I have seen where the outputs are spread out so small transformer plugs can be installed. Another feature we need on these is dimmer switch models, why?, outdoor lighting and fans in gazebo, outdoor string lighting for dinners or entertainment.

> 3 dayThis is my second meross product after their smart plugs. I plugged it in, pressed the + sign on the app, chose smart outdoor plug and Next and it was installed. it automatically integrated into my Alexa Meross devices. The whole process was painless. Each outlet can be individually addressed or both together. I moved it outside, plugged in my outdoor lighting and immediate connection to my network and the socet powered on and off perfectly. Now, will it last over time? Dont know, but for starters it is a 5 star device but 4 because it is not the least expensive out there.

> 3 dayThis handy device is just what the doctor ordered for our outdoor Christmas lights. In the past we have used a timer with a dusk sensor. The problem was when a cars headlights hit the sensor it would shut off the Christmas lights, thinking it was daytime. We also had a problem with our outdoor lights, and our spotlights, fooling the sensor. This device, being connected to the internet, knows when sunset is, so it bases its schedule on that rather than a light sensor. It has worked like a champ. Setup was fairly simple if you follow the directions carefully (I didnt at first). I havent tested Google Assistant nor Alexa functionality so I cant comment on that. Weve had it outside for several weeks and it has performed flawlessly.

> 3 dayThis is a GREAT device. It took me about an hour to hook up, but if I did another one, it would only take 15 minutes. It works from a distance...I live in PA and control (open/close) a garage door in VA, 450 miles away. I have LOTS of other Meross smart devices and I really like them. The only improvement I might offer is that the programming, while not hard at all, is a little clunky. That said, its a minor complaint. Meross makes a lot of smart devices at a very competitive price. I have TP-Link smart devices and them are very good too, but more expensive. I wish Meross would offer a video camera and door lock, then I could have an integrated smart system from one vendor.

> 3 dayI was getting tired of resetting the outdoor timer for our porch lights to match shifting daylight hours especially fall and spring, not to mention every power outage (frequent for us in winter). I’ve had great success with Meross smart plugs in the past and it had good reviews on tech sites. Unfortunately you can’t really trust Amazon reviews. What can I say? I plugged it in to an easy-access indoor outlet and lamp, scanned the code with my iPhone, labeled it, and it connected to HomeKit. Moved it to the porch lights, created automation to turn on at sunset and turn off later. Now if my kids are out late, I can just override the turn off and leave the lights on until their iPhone is home. I also randomly change smart lights when we travel (we have an AppleTV and a few HomePod minis, any of which give us secure access away from home). Easy to link, easy to use, rugged… I plan to get another next Black Friday week for Christmas lights! Meross is by far the most reliable and easiest brand of smart plugs…and I don’t do a thing after power outages or time changes. Worth every penny!

> 3 dayI purchased this to use on outdoor porch for a strand of lights that ran the perimeter. Although the porch is exposed to elements the plug was against the wall under a four foot overhang. Its incredibly convenient to have Alexa turn the lights on/off and it can easily be controlled by phone app when Im away in order to give appearance of someone home. Although my product stopped working outside the 30 days to return it was within the one year warranty. Fiona in customer service could not have been easier to work with. It was all online through email but she and her team completely took care of me and expedited a new unit at no cost to me under their one year warranty. Sometimes it is like pulling teeth to get help, not with Meross, job well done!!!

Greater than one weekI use these to control my outdoor landscape lighting. My previous manual control had to be adjusted several times a year for the changing day lengths. Now I program for dusk to dawn and the Meross timer automatically adjusts day length through the seasons. I use the second outlet for my Christmas lights during the Christmas season. The two outlets can be programmed independently.

> 3 dayI put this in my hoop house, and use it to run a space heater set on a temperature-triggered schedule. The Meross to SmartThings integration took a few minutes to side up, but ever since then it’s worked flawlessly.

> 3 dayI wanted to like this device and for the first couple of weeks it worked fine. But then it disconnected from HomeKit. Viewing the support site, I learned that new firmware had been released but the update would require downloading and installing the Meross app, which in my book defeats the security inherent with being able to connect and manage devices directly from within HomeKit, circumventing 3rd party app/cloud pass-through of ones data. But since the Meross app was the only path to the firmware update that would supposedly fix the connection issues, I did so. Meross warns that updates may take up to two minutes. This update froze and after 10 or so minutes I reluctantly had to reboot the Meross app (interrupting a firmware update should always be ones very last resort). The Meross app would never again re-pair with the device for another try, despite power cycling the device, trying its hard reset sequence a number of times, and even restarting the iOS device. Opening a support ticket and filling out all the info they were seeking seemed way too invasive and time-consuming just to ask a simple question they failed to address in their FAQs. This thing is going back. I tried a Meross device previously and had a disappointing experience that time too. Fool me twice, shame on me I guess. My smart home network consists of over a hundred WiFi, Zigbee, and Zwave devices and despite the variety of manufacturers that make up that collection, none of those brands have given me as much trouble as Meross has.
