Greater than one weekTheres seriously not much to hate about this smart home product. It works great, and its consistent with other Meross product setup & design. If I had to complain about anything, itd be these three things: 1. HomeKit QR code is on the top of the device as you can see on the picture. Not the best look design wise and wish it was on the bottom. You can move it but youd have to peel it off. 2. Not intuitive what is Switch 1 / Switch 2. Youd think the left & top button would be Switch 1 but its not. Maybe its me, but I keep getting those mixed up. 3. Still 2.4 GHz only. I know its the standard in the smart home industry, but I would love to have just one SSID/band to manage. Other than that, theres a lot to like: 1. It works like youd expect it to 2. How it works in the app is awesome compared to its other gadgets. Instead of me to click into the device to turn on/off Switch 1/2, I can easily do it on the dashboard. I can also click on the power button to turn both on/off! Really smart though I mainly use my voice anyway. 3. Works with all the smart platforms (HomeKit/Google/Alexa) 4. Really quick and easy to install.

> 3 dayI purchased it to work with my bedroom and family room lamps. It works great with Apple Homekit and much cheaper than other options I was considering.

> 3 dayUpdate 2: Now using 34 devices with Google Assistant. Im seeing a lot of delays in execution with the Meross devices which Im not seeing with Lutron Caseta, Shelly and SwitchBot. An example, request Google turn on a dozen smart plugs, not all turn on and it is not always the same plugs. Using business grade WiFi. I picked these up to control our grow lights for our vegetable seedlings. Setup was quick, I followed the recommendation to setup the units with the Meross app first. I also updated the firmware. I then added to HomeKit following the instructions. I set up the timer function and was using the switch in about 3-minutes. This also works well with Home Assistant using the HomeKit Controller integration.

> 3 dayThese are not only a PITA to install but every day -- every single day -- they have to be reinstalled. This accessory is not responding. I have some cheap round plugs I bought 3 or 4 years ago and have never had one of them lose connection. Initiating a return.

> 3 dayI bought this to act as a dumb switch for homekit so I can automate when the switch comes on to do something else like open garage door, or unlock level bolt for the door. But since I didnt want both the garage and door to work at the same time this one switch controls each outlet independently. So I have one outlet on the switch for one action automation, and the other for another automation action . Now I just hid it behind the bed and out of sight without the need to buy two separate switches plugged into two of my wall outlets. And its one less thing I have to put on the wifi, and one less thing I have to set up.

> 3 dayI have managed to get several other smart devices set up pretty easily but these were ridiculously difficult. I tried several times, even with help from Amazon tech-support, and iwas just about to send them back when I tried one more time and got a wonderful woman in the Echo tech support department. She walked me through steps that had not been even attempted before (nor does it seem likely anyone would have thought to attempt the steps we had to take!) but one of thermse dual outlets works now and I just dread having to set it up in the future if I move! I’m not even going to try to use the second one because I don’t have that kind of time in my life.

> 3 dayI have switched most of my smart plugs to the dual smart plug. They were working great and now are not updating their firmware. I would consider myself a techie person. Meross has run into issues with an iOS update. I have followed all of their directions and done some of my own troubleshooting to no avail. It’s a shame because I really thought these were a great find. Unfortunately I am stuck with nonfunctioning smart plugs. I have a couple other brand of smart devices, all of which had no issue with the iOS update. Really disappointed that Meross hasn’t fixed this issue.
