> 3 dayI bought this product containing 2 plugs and it was not easy to set up. The first plug was set up using the Meross app. Then I was able to connect the Smart Things app. This worked for a while. Then both apps were unable to connect to the plug. Interesting, I was able to turn the plug on and off but unable to program it. I contacted support and they said to use Apple Home to install the plugs. I do not recommend buying this plug.

> 3 dayIf you know anything about home automation, you know how things work or rather how they are supposed to work. I have Apple devices and Android devices neither haven’t had any issues with this entire company’s product line. They’ve not dropped their connectivity nor have they hiccuped in any way. I use HomeKit SmartThings and Zigbee in my home predominantly without a bridge. Still zero issues. I will continue to recommend them until something changes

> 3 dayThese are great plugs and having wifi is better than Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth rely on phones and devices connected to the hub where as wifi can use your wifi router or mesh.

> 3 dayI was able to add this pretty easy on my phone (the meross app is nice on Android). I had to resync my google home to meross, but after doing that, it showed up. I can now turn on and off my floor lamps I have plugged in from the google home app and also the meross app. The meross app also has a nice widget that you can add to your home screen to make it easy. Well see how it holds up over time but for now its great.

> 3 dayThey work with HomeKit, I don’t use Alexa, no such thing as privacy there. I also don’t use the Meross app, no privacy there either, don’t need it anyway. It would be nice if these used Bluetooth instead of taking up bandwidth, since people use so many. Eve is nice using Bluetooth.

> 3 dayThese are not only a PITA to install but every day -- every single day -- they have to be reinstalled. This accessory is not responding. I have some cheap round plugs I bought 3 or 4 years ago and have never had one of them lose connection. Initiating a return.

Greater than one weekThis dual outlet switch allows me to easily turn on/off 2 monitors that have switches awkwardly placed on the back. I simply ask Alexa to turn them off, use the Meross app, or swipe my phone over an NFC. Or, I can go old school by reaching across my desk and use the switches on the outlet itself! Wow!

User-friendly Smart Plugs for iOS / Android Users
For iOS users: We do recommend that you configure HomeKit products in the Meross app first. The Meross app offers the latest firmware updates so that you can use the firmware in a more stable and secure way. Once paired up with Meross app, the devices can be controlled in both Meross and Home app.
For Android users: It works with any Android smartphone or tablet with Android 4.1 or higher. Android users will have an effortless experiences when configure with Meross app. Then skill "Meross" with your smart speakers as you wish.
WiFi request: Connect your iPhone to 2.4GHz home WiFi while setting up HomeKit. If you are having a Mesh WiFi name for both your 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi and it keeps fail during setup. You may need to turn off the 5GHz on your WiFi router temporarily. Make sure that your smart device is always covered by strong WiFi signal, otherwise your smart device may not respond to Home app.
