> 3 dayThese are great plugs and having wifi is better than Bluetooth devices. Bluetooth rely on phones and devices connected to the hub where as wifi can use your wifi router or mesh.

> 3 dayI have had 2 of these for about 9 months - I have the companys app on my phone and the firmware is up to date. The first complaint is that once a month or so, the plugs just drop off HomeKit. Unplugging them and replugging them solves the problem, but since one of them is behind a cabinet its inconvenient to say the least. The second problem is that once or twice a night, the plugs power cycle. The lamps connected to it turn off for a second, then turn back on.

> 3 dayI’m not one who often gives perfect reviews, but I have been very pleased. I have other Meross devices and they weren’t difficult to get going, but this was easy peasy. Almost scary, Alexa added the device without me doing anything. Your app will show three devices, mine does anyway. One for each outlet and one for the actual device. I didn’t remove THE device because it doesn’t bother me and I don’t know if it would mess anything up. I just named it so I would know.

> 3 dayThe switches work great. Easy to integrate with HomeKit. The one downside is the loud click when you power them off

Greater than one weekI bought this to act as a dumb switch for homekit so I can automate when the switch comes on to do something else like open garage door, or unlock level bolt for the door. But since I didnt want both the garage and door to work at the same time this one switch controls each outlet independently. So I have one outlet on the switch for one action automation, and the other for another automation action . Now I just hid it behind the bed and out of sight without the need to buy two separate switches plugged into two of my wall outlets. And its one less thing I have to put on the wifi, and one less thing I have to set up.

21-11-2024This purchase was my very first Smarthome purchase. I needed something that worked with Apples Siri & Homekit for automation of my lighting. Once I set these up (one controls both lamps in the living room, the other my two lamps in the entry) they have worked flawlessly. I have set my lights to come on every day at 5:30pm and, when they do, I still get a kick out of it every time. I can also control each light separately using Siri and Homekit. Shortly after I bought these, I realized that I could also do the same thing using Smartbulbs but Ive left these in place for now. Eventually, Ill move these to control anything I need to that isnt a bulb but that Id want to control the on/off periods for. I love these though. I love them especially for controlling lamps in pairs really easily and quickly. Im surprised and impressed that I have had ZERO issues. They have never once not performed or had any connection issues. Pretty impressive given that they cater to multiple platforms that typically dont play well together. Apple users dont have near enough choices, let alone good solid ones that work. I highly recommend.

18-11-2024I bought this product containing 2 plugs and it was not easy to set up. The first plug was set up using the Meross app. Then I was able to connect the Smart Things app. This worked for a while. Then both apps were unable to connect to the plug. Interesting, I was able to turn the plug on and off but unable to program it. I contacted support and they said to use Apple Home to install the plugs. I do not recommend buying this plug.

> 3 dayThese plugs work well with HomeKit, Alexa, and the Google assistant. I especially liked how they can be set up direction HomeKit and avoid downloading yet another smart home app. My complaint has been that they randomly switch on and off quickly without any intervention after a few months of use. I recently saw that one seemed to have sparked and left burn marks on the top of the plug. Warranty support through Meross has been difficult to work with. Awaiting a response now.
