Jai possédé cet objectif pendant 18 mois. Lanalyse des clichés réalisés ma conduit à le revendre sans regrets : ils étaient très peu nombreux et aucun nétait clairement irréalisable avec une de mes autres optiques.

What can i say other then i love it!. Having tons of fun with this lens and it did an amazing job shooting some nice pictures while i was on vacation, highly recommend this lens for anyone looking for their first prime.

A couple pertinent details for this review. I prefer available light, without the aid of reflectors or lighting systems etc. Im using this lens with the D7000. I mostly photograph my kids/family. Ill try to keep this short and sweet, there are plenty of wordy reviews already.

A good 1st prime lens, Im finding this now to be the default lens which is installed on my camera for general photo taking. Why buy a cheap brand when you can buy the genuine article, Nikon branded, for so little?

Very good lens for this price , pictures are so sharp & crisp,. it is a landscape cum portrait cum street cum indoor cum night photography lens ....but if u r looking for a lens spl for portraits only den nikon 50mm 1.8 would be d better choice

I cannot lie, I was drawn by the affordability of the lens. With that, it takes amazing portrait type photos with excellent bokeh and very little effort. You do have to move around to position yourself to take the photo as some have stated due to the non-existent zoom, but its easy to get used to. I cannot speak to any high-speed technical lingo as Im still learning my camera, but some of the best photos I have taken are with this lens. I have the Nikon D5100. I dont know how helpful this review is, but if youre an amateur like me and want to get your feet wet with different lenses without breaking your pocket book just yet - this lens is definitely a must have.
