This seems to be a quality case (only one international trip with it so far), and is one thats actually airline legal carry-on size -- if you dont utilize the expansion feature. The only thing its missing is a parking brake! It WILL walk away from you if on uneven terrain (sidewalk in my case), if you let go of it and are momentarily distracted.

This bag came highly recommended from a friend. I ordered the 21” carry on hardcover and received a soft giant (ie. Must be checked) suitcase. I returned it and tried again. The next one arrived, correct size and material, but it was crushed! I returned it. Ordered again, finally got what I ordered, not damaged. Have used it once, so far it’s been good though if you stuff it full, the handle can be difficult to collapse.

I normally never check luggage but have needed to on a couple recent trips. The best thing about this is how easily it glides. It never felt cumbersome at all. I also love how organized it stays with the two compartments and the internal compression is very user friendly. I love this so much I’m going to order the same version in the carry on size.

Took this for my 2 week European vacation and it’s a great quality product. Light weight (I’m 5’3” and 120lbs) so I needed something I can maneuver and handle. It held up through the uneven streets of Greece and Italy with ease! It’s an amazing product and highly recommend.

There is enough space to pack delicate garments and necessities. There is expansion to add an large jackets and even boots

The external dimensions of the Travelpro Platinum are the maximum allowable (not expanded) for overhead compartments on global flights (if the airline boarding attendants check the dimensions). I purchased this luggage for travel to Mexico. The ball bearing wheels are smooth and stable for rolling through airports (and boarding escalators using the two wheel rolling position). The interior is easy to pack and cram in clothing for a five day trip augmented by an under seat bag. The Platinum design stands out from the typical black roll aboard bags.

This is a fantastic suitcase! I purchased it for a recent trip overseas. It packed easily and held a LOT! Plus it has a zippered expansion section for purchases you bring home. Sturdy yet lightweight and easily rolls AND the handle stays in position! Highly recommend.
