> 3 dayI love this suitcase! Its been on several trips with me now and still looks and feels brand new. The exterior is durable and scuff resistant. It has clean lines with a minimal aesthetic. The finishes are all premium grade. The handle releases easily and has a smooth glide, no yanking it into place. The zippers all glide with ease and yet stay in place once youve secured them. The wheels are so smooth, this glides across any floor surface with no friction at all; they can corner, turn, and change direction on a dime, with little direction - it almost feels like this case is driving itself as it has just an intuitive response.

> 3 dayI bought this suitcase for a three week trip in Portugal. It was light and easy to roll. I steered it through airport corridors and along bumpy cobblestone sidewalks. Yes, the surface of the suitcase does scratch . But who cares? It’s a suitcase!

> 3 dayI bought both the Briggs & Riley torq and the Travelpro 22 Carry On to see which one met my needs. I do many 3-4 day trips, and occasional 10 day trips out of a carry on for business. Sometimes, I carry a commercial Camera rig. So, I need volume when I need it, and convenience all the time. In this test, Travelpro was the hands down winner. Now Briggs usually sells a compression version but its been out of stock for quite a while everywhere. Too bad for them I guess. In general, I was surprised at the low quality of the Briggs for the price-- see the video. Youll see how it deforms.

> 3 dayWas a lifelong Samsonite owner and decided to try the Travel Pro Elite 20 in. shell with laptop slot. Overall very good. Used it on three plane trips and two conferences. The good: strong body, excellent four wheel maneuverability, expandable to another inch or so, fits perfectly in overhead bin and is compliant with FAA regs, so never a worry no matter which airline you use, or the mood of the staff at check in. Very good for a short trip, or a week long trip if you have easy access to laundry machines. If you add a Travel Pro duffel bag, it’s perfect. The bad: After seven months, I was sliding the zipper that controls expandability and the pull broke off the zipper assembly. That’s when I first noticed it was made of cheap fake leather. This is unacceptable for a high end offering of luggage. Samsonite always used sturdy metal pulls on their outside zippers. A zipper for expandability will always receive more pull and stress. Was Travel Pro trying to save 50 cents on a $430 item? I then noticed the interior compartment zippers also contain the fake leather pulls on their zippers. When packing, the compartments expand and these pulls will eventually break. I had to purchase replacement metal pulls with carabiner mechanisms. Totally unacceptable for Travel Pro’s top offering. Hence the deduction of two stars for durability. Other than that, a solid, good-looking piece of luggage. However, I’m seriously disappointed in the cheap zipper pulls. Shame on Travel Pro.

> 3 dayThe item was delivered directly by Amazon, but not in any packaging at all. It was supposed to be like new and in the original packaging. Neither was true, but the item was still at least in very good condition. Im tempted to return it, but its still not a bad deal. Overall, the product is fine, but the delayed delivery, no packaging, and condition is disappointing. Im guessing that the specific used item I ordered wasnt conveniently located for cheap delivery purposes, so they just shipped whatever they had.

Greater than one weekThis bag has been ideal for me to use as a carry-on. Note: it wont fit either under the seat or in the tiny overhead bin of small commuter flight planes--I have to use the valet service to temporarily stow it during those short commuter flights. But I expected that since Im used to those short commuter flights and know the restrictions. Once I get to the regular plane, it fits beautifully in the overhead bin and takes up very little room since it can go in on its side, wheels first and fit.

> 3 dayI purchased this luggage for a 2 week long vacation in Europe. After about 7 flights, this luggage managed to stay in great condition and was extremely easy to transport. You can pack a tremendous amount of stuff in this luggage and the zippers are great quality. I would recommend this over my Away luggage.
