> 24 hourOMG this is the best item I have ever put my hands on. The leather is stiff and you can feel the quality. It even smells like a brand new car. My ONLY complaint is on one of the inside pockets, it wasnt stitched all the way and I hope it doesnt start to unravel over time. If I could take one item to heaven with me when I go, it would definitely be this backpack.

> 24 hourThis backpack looks and feels great. Real, thick leather, which gives it somewhat rustic appearance. It almost feels cozy, if a backpack can be cozy. So far, all bells and whistles (i.e. pockets and straps) hold well (I cannot comment on long-term usability). There are plenty good reviews that do justice to this backpack, so Ill only mention three minor issues with it. On the outside, pocket flaps are held with straps fed through the metal loops. Underneath these straps there are small Velcro patches, that seem to be too weak to give confidence in function. This may not a big deal, since straps themselves are rather stiff. This stiffness causes bigger issues with side pockets, which are closed with magnetic closures - they just keep popping open. Maybe this will fix itself after months of use. Another gripe is with the main compartment zipper on top. Metal zipper is not as smooth as comparable plastic zippers. When combined with thick leather flap, it makes unzipping more difficult than it could be, especially around the corners. The result is that I typically do not open zipper all the way and almost feels like Im ready to scratch myself every time I reach inside. Lastly, the organization of the inside is not as good as the outside feel and look. There are some pockets, but they are sewn thin fabric. There is essentially no padding between compartments. I cant find a good way to securely store glasses, for example. That said, I like it overall

> 24 hourDitch your run of the mill highschool back pack and enjoy compliments every day. Top shelf leather that smells great (not overpowering) doesnt bleed onto clothing and reflects your STYLE. The stitching could be heavier guage -- like a saddleback -- and it NEEDS a key leash desperately-- but besides that its a bag for life. Bought my bf one for valentines day n hit order again as soon as it arrived. Interior lsyout is functional n i love the safe zipper against your back. & the 5 front pockets are sick. Youll love it -- just dont tell anyone where ya got it!!

> 24 hourGreat leather. Well put together. As I work from home remote I bought this for personal use. Fits my stuff for personal use including my 10 X 9 beach/park blanket and summer thin jacket and still lots of spare space. Lots of front pockets plus two side pockets one put my micro umbrella in. Other side pocket will put drink container in. Very recommended. Worth the price.

> 24 hourI have 2 slight criticism: 1. the straps on the inside of the bag that secures my laptop could be a little shorter to restrict movement; and 2. the absence of padding on the straps near the shoulder area. Otherwise, this is an excellent buy.

> 24 hourThis is by far the most beautiful backpack Ive ever own. Ive always wanted a genuine leather backpack but every brand I tried is either not my style or just too pricy. This is my dream come true. Just got it few days ago and havent got a chance to carry it yet, but the leather is so beautifully tanned and it has lots of smaller pouches and spaces with this bag. Leather is so comfortable and Im pretty sure itll be better as I use it longer based on my former experience with leather bags. It even has a section for my laptop. Now I can put my MacBook Pro in this and not worry about getting the surface scratched. Nice inside out. Definitely worth the money.

> 24 hourI have had this for awhile now, wanted to wait before reviewing it review it. I wanted an greyman EDC bag something that did not scream tactical. The only attention this pack draws is nice pack. Looks good with jeans or slacks. One concern I had was that it would lose its shape after a while. It hasn’t it’s excellent quality heavy duty leather. Thick and stiff enough to have held its shape after almost a year of daily use. The one slight flaw is the flap over the zipper tends to curl and not cover the zipper. At first I thought all the pockets were a bit hokey, maybe so but they have served me well, keeping things organized and at my finger tips. Same with the three interior compartments and zippered interior pocket, slots for notepads and pens makes it easy to access what I want instantly. It also makes it easy to swap out items, to suit my needs. On the back side there is a discreet zippered pocket that is hardly noticeable and invisible when wearing the pack. A great spot for a back up or off body carry a little magazine keeps it from imprinting any of the front pockets will hold a spare mag or two. If the pack has a down fall it is that it is large enough to hold more than I am willing to carry around with me all day. In it I carry a 15 Macbook pro, note pads, sketch pad, assorted drawing pens pencils brushes, water color, Nikkon 5000, 2 lens, & assorted camera gear, a trauma kit, shemagh, compact raincoat (its Washington it will rain at anytime), compact binoculars, snacks reading magazine, book and assorted personal odds & end. It gets compliments often and appears to be a pack that cost hundreds of dollars. I read a few complaints about the straps, I disagree with. They are solid sturdy I like who easily they adjust. I set them loose to easily put it on. Rolled up the excess and wrapped ranger bands around them. Once it is on a quick tug tightens the pack up and balances the load. Comfortable hardly noticeable unless I over load it.

> 24 hourI was looking for a solid, hardy, backpack and after a lot of searching and comparing I settled on this one. Pros: Roomier than expected. I had read that there was space for a laptop, but there is also enough volume for several books, a tablet, etc. Excellent number of compartments. Given that this bag is now my all day away from home bag it has enough individualized space to house the various utilities and items that I had previously thrown into a single bag together. Quality. I confess I dont know leather as well as some, but this bag feels a lot like some of the best leather items I have ever owned. Feels like it will last a long time with care. Aesthetic. I am ready to rob tombs with this bag. Cons: Velcro on the outer pockets. This seemed out of place on such an antiquarian looking bag. Padding on shoulder straps. With a full load these can dig a little, but only if you arent wearing jacket. Overall I would highly recommend!

> 24 hour(UPDATE: Only a day or two after posting the original review, Polare reached out to me to offer to send a brand new bag with an improved zipper. I obviously cant tell if this will last longer than the original, but I have to say the new zipper is seemingly more durable and well constructed. I very much appreciate Polare for the fantastic customer service. Buy with confidence that if something does go wrong, theyll do their best to fix it. I am leaving the original review intact for context.) The bag itself is constructed well, but one side of the main zipper has never worked properly. The thread typically comes undone behind the zipped zipper, causing the zipper to become caught. Its quite frustrating when attempting to pull out a book or laptop while fighting the broken zipper. The fact that this bag came with a premium price tag makes this unacceptable and I would take your money elsewhere.
